Re: Would Dylan's being Paul's or anyone's son (w/Niki) be a match for Victor? Like he reinforced in today's dialogue "I always win" so? Why even bother when story has shown me repeatedly that's usually the case. No one will be written to cause Victor strife he's the big kahuna.

I've never liked this rendition of Victoria Newman. Even after 9 years, I've yet to warm to AH, never thought her acting style is correct for the character as I envisioned her to maintain more polish, sophistication not this granola and macramé edition I've been seeing.

I don't know if its her acting or how they write her or a combination of both...In all my days of watching Victor and Niki I never thought Victoria would be like this. As for Villy, Victoria just sucked the life out of Billy for me so it doesn't matter who plays him...I always liked Billy (esp DT' version) with MacKenzie Browning anyway and always thought she should have been carefully recast after the Clementine Ford one.

I've waited for the Victor/Ian face down, it was good but I wanted a little bit more of it they cut it kinda short. LoL...dude didn't back down though Ian was just a little put off..Niki was taping him is what got him flustered...the look on Leslie' face was priceless

When Niki handed over the million she repeated a lot eg I want you to say what you did to me, also when she didn't cough up the 5 in its entirety I figured something was up with that flower bag that matched her coat.

I liked that Nikki was the one who nailed him. And the expression on Leslie's face was pretty funny. I like that Nikki took care of her own business. And I enjoyed her scenes with Summer at the end, although it was kind of weird, and MTS really can't do crying even after all these years. As far as Victor never losing . . . it's relative. The love of his life has a son that isn't his "blood" and there's nothing he can do about that. That's a lose in Victor's book. I like it.

Amelia has been here for 9 years and I still see her as a temp recast, waiting for a new, solid actress to take over.

Amelia probably loves the attention she gets from her haters. Heck she is going into year 10 as Victoria she must be loved by her bosses.

Terribly dull eppy. Between Dylan hopping up on a bench and having a Tom Cruise moment and Jill/Colin's wartime fantasies, SMH.

I wanted to like DT as Billy but he is just horribly miscast IMO.

It looks like Ian is hinting about a secret to Dylan AND Paul. I hope it is that they are father/son.

you do know he played the role already

We all know that Cassadine. Does it have any significance to liking him, or not?

The only disappointment was that the Ian/Victor scenes were not long enough. Ray Wise is so good at playing a psychological villain. God, I love him as Ian! Perfect casting. Ian reminding Victor that he "had" Nikki? Wow! I love Leslie as his attorney. She can get Ian out of this simply by stating that Ian was offered the money to stay away. Nothing on that tape proves otherwise. Surprise Nikki taped it.

YR is trying too hard to make Lily bad ass because she just comes off as stupid. The dialogue and Lily's intent were ridiculous. Going off on Tyler because his sister does not want to marry Lily's pathetic [not]dad? Yeah ok. And then CK trying to pull off bad ass?! Clearly a Daytime Don't!

Nikki, Summer and Nick scenes were fantastic! Nikki needed that more than Summer, and might I add that HHK is looking fabulous lately!

Could have done w/o Jill and that clown, Esther. Why is she still on the show? And I fully expect TPTB to come better than they have with Jill/Colin. I don't wish to care just because JW is getting some screen time. It has to matter.

It's so obvious Paul is Dylan's father - Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Hold up, WHAT?!?

The whole FOJ thing. So much misinformation. Get facts, people.

And I'd like to point out that Jill Farren Phelps version of Y&R has had over 5 million viewers for 5 weeks straight and the last time Y&R had 5 million viewers in any 1 week was years ago. Go Jill!!!!!

I don't have anything concrete, but the moment Ian said to Dylan last Friday "if you do this, you won't know the truth", I knew what was up. Not to mention, Pylan have been having way too many moments.

Okay, as long as we're openly discussing this:

I can only speak for myself when I say that for me, this has NOTHING to do with SB's status as FOJ.

To me, this has more to do with Y&R's misguided notion that having Paul as the Dad would lend itself to some sort of clever twist or further drama down the road. I just don't see it that way.

Still hoping that Paul won't turn out to be the Dad, but the signs seem to be there (still hope the secret is something else though). While Ian Ward could actually stand toe to toe with Victor, Paul has never done this so I don't see any mileage down the road in making him the father. I'd love to hear the thoughts of anyone who is for it, though because I'd love to figure out if I've overlooked anything that could make that scenario interesting. At all.

Jill has had excellent ratings. I see her signing another big contract to stay with y and r.

I also have the feeling that Paul will turn out to be Dylan's bio father. I was thinking this early on in the story when Paul was helping Nikki, but when they brought in Ian....I assumed they chose to go a different route. Now its back to looking like Paul could turn out to be the father based on this "secret" Ian somehow is holding.

I gotta admit, I'd prefer for Paul to be the dad anyway. He never seems to have a solid relationship with his kids.

It really fits very well IMO. Paul is the consummate good guy, and really so is Dylan. It just makes sense to me. And I can see Dylan eventually joining the police force. I would like that. Plus I would LMAO at Steve Burton playing a cop.
