I couldn't quite put my finger on who she was trying to replace with GenV. At first I thought it was Nikki. She was clearly going to be fought over by Jack and Victor until MTS resigned. Then she became a rival to Jill.

Genevieve is the representation of everything that was wrong with MAB's Y&R.

I am glad we no longer have to suffer through watching Genie Francis try to act or the hideous writing for that character.

I'll never take anyone seriously who tries to tell me Genie Francis is a great actress. I've seen nothing on GH or any other role that makes her ass any better than anyone else.

Great summation! I could never figure out if the writers were just all over the place or if they were trying to find GF's strengths and to somehow make the character fit those. It was just a hot, flipping mess. I actually felt sorry for GF because it was so inconsistent. Just another MAB ill-conceived mess.

I did, too, actually. MAB basically saw her on Oprah saying she didn't want to play a "wounded bird" anymore, and fed her a bunch of hooey about how this new character was going to be the anti-Laura, so strong, so fabulous, everybody is just going to love you, Genie! And they'll love ME for creating you! Hey, let's called her GENEVIEVE!! Just like GENIE!

Of course, MAB didn't have a plan beyond the plant-spritzing and the lip-chewing so she made it up as she went along, relieved that GF hit it off with PB. It was a hot mess and probably the straw that broke the camel's back as far as MAB's relationship with Sony was concerned.

He knew some unnamed random judge that got hum off the no fly list, right? A miracle, Leslie says. Very MAB like.

DT and JW still got that mother-son chemistry, love that scene with them in the hospital room, and that flashback

Jill kissing Billy's head was amazing. I hope they write him as her son now because they haven't in years. It was like their old dynamic of animosity just faded away over night. Love it!

I enjoyed the Jill and Billy scene too and the flashback. JW and DT didn't miss a beat. This eppy didn't do much for me elsewhere though. I don't care about Neil and Leslie's wedding planning. Tabby babbling about Mariah is on my last nerve. Hurry up and go meet her Tyler so we can move this crap along.

Kelly has more chemistry with Billy than Victoria does so far. I know this is unpopular but I like Kelly. She could be entertaining. This show is in dire need of a female antagonist I care about besides Chloe and Victor.

I am interested to see who she is...CK playing dual roles or that Esmerelda chick. Either way, I hope they get frisky to make it clear Tabby is doomed.
