Kevin's job at the GCPD started out as community service and evolved/he was promoted. Billy "won" the restaurant in a poker game (which was set up by Victor to encourage Billy's gambling/drive a wedge between him and Victoria). Nick runs a bar that serves bar food as he wanted to get away from Victor's influence and start something new. Victoria runs the Lifestyle Division at Newman-Chancellor.
