None of those descriptions fir anyone on soaps currently.

Disagree completely with you, I think DeeeDee has hit the nail on the head totally and completely. And it isn't a criticism of the actors, all the actors she listed are wonderful, but their styles are very different and the types of films they were all in are very different.

Absolutely. I've said before that Y&R and B&B had much in common with the lush melodramas from the so-called Golden Age of Hollywood.

Delia will be killed off and her corneas will go to Connor.

I hope the Delia speculation isn't true. That is the last thing this show needs and Delia is a nice connection for Esther and Chloe.

I think the "traditional" Bell actors more fit that guise. The other two I don't really agree with as there are differences among ABC and Nixon...and I saw them as more as a certain kind of theater performer more than New Hollywood (meaning 60s era-like). GH perhaps I see more as New Hollywood... Days I don't see as current Hollywood, or anything really. The P&G shows were theater, but in a different sense than the Nixon shows.

I need some examples because I don't recall any actors having with those acting styles.

Now you know that wouldn't go over well. And I'm not just talking about backlash from Lame fans. People who don't even like Lame would be like "Why they gotta kill off the black kids?"

The only folks ho would say that are Lame fans...logistically, it makes sense. Lame has two kids. So they would not suffer for lack of a connection because they would have the other one to still tie them together.

Actually, I am not too pissed about Delia. The writers have done nothing with Chloe and billy. They have made it clear he feels nothing for her. Fine. Let her move on to a real pairing who won't cheat on her and whom EH has chemistry with...someone long term.

Lauren Koslow, Margaret Mason, Terry Lester, Jeanne Cooper, Patty Weaver, Eileen Davidson, Jess Walton, Heather Tom, etc.

Chloe was interesting and amusing at one point in time. Now the person I don't get the hype about is MCE and Chelsea. I am convinced it had a lot to do with Adam..,and the Shick fandom wanting Adam away from Sharon. MCE is boring actress...little to no stage presence.
