You know, I actually was a bit disappointed by his acting this episode for some reason I can't pinpoint. Some moments like the ending I thought he was great, others I thought he was a step backwards. Great episode though (and I did appreciate that Ashley was the only one who seemed to point out Tyler actually is sick--). I'd like to see clips of him as Greg on OLTL as well but don't remember the character at all. It says he was 2002-2003 isn't that when we had a few young "hunks" with little to do, maybe he was part of that scene? It looks like he was around the same time as Seth played by the actor who took over from a terrible Brandon Routh and Teddy Sears as Chad Bennett who are both around the same age and likewise had very little to do but seemed hired because Gary Tomlin or someone had a thing for model guys that age :P (but both have gone on to have, much to my siurprise, a fair amoutn of success now :P ).

I loved the episode tonight. It just never dissapoints. I had not expected Tyler to come unhinged like that, and I was scared shitless for Nolan. Madeline Stowe is just amazing week after week. She's a hard bitch, but there is real human qualities underneath that peeks through occasionally, when Tyler pointed the gun at Daniel, the look on her face was right on the mark. Loved that scene of her sipping Cognac at the end of the show, and did anyone notice, she was wearing something VERY similar to a Wonder Woman bracelet, it's nice that her accessories can make a statement about how bullet proof and tough she is.

Agreed with all of that but I admit I didn't worry about Nolan simply because we saw him with all his limbs, perfectly fine (if completely hating Emily) in the first episode flashforward to Labour Day. I was glad Tyler didn't get killed off, but admit was kinda thrown about framing him for Frank's murder--wouldn't she want to keep that as something to blackmail/get real Emily with if things get too extreme? The best part (aside Stowe) is watching Emily really start to unravel while still holding it together--even manipulating Nolan back into being friends she seems to realize she kinda does need real friends.. I have a feeling that may play into the seconde part of the show--Daniel, even all too perfect Jack aren't gonna jump to forvie her even with her reasons.

I thought he was dreadful in this episode. He was chewing scenery like a Marvel comics supervillain. I've liked him just fine up til now but I literally LOLed at some of his scenes in this episode. I had to pause at "It would seem that you despicable people are rubbing off on me" just so I could roll my eyes with all appropriate enthusiasm.

I suspect Conrad somehow used Victoria's pregnancy with Charlotte against her. Why else would Victoria say she wished Char hasn't been born? Plus it was brought up again last night. It has to be something more than typical mother/daughter friction, imo. I think it's the key to why Victoria betrayed David, but I can't figure out how yet.

She was in the pilot of Private Practice (she played the original Naomi) or if you go back further she was Susannah on Summerland and even before that she was on Alias... so take your pick!

This episode was divine -- I love my Nolily back in action and I was a little upset that Truth or Die ended way too early. I wanted more from the "game." Tyler was too funny when he was talking about Emily when she said she had something to give to Daniel upstairs.

"I bet you do, slut."

I can't wait for the next episode!

I finally caught up!

Fortunately, all this ^^ wasn't what it was at all. LOL

Nolan has been the perfect ally for Emily all along--two complicated characters in a very complicated relationship which cannot be fully displayed in one episode. It was never sugary sweet and he opposed--or gave her a hard time for--a lot of the things she did, as well as enjoyed a lot of the things she did.

He wasn't horrified because she did something bad, he was horrified because he had come to see her as his ally, if not also a friend, and she destroyed something with someone he was (unwittingly) falling for. It was more his heartbreak at what he perceived as a betrayal. Such a great moment!

I loved the twist with Ryan Huntley. Have to catch up with this week's episode lol

    • Oh good, so I don't have to wait too long haha. I'm glad she cares about seeing Bill graduate. I'm guessing I'm in for a bumpy ride between Bill and Matt, if he's going to be his caretaker? Who else could it be, maybe Josh?

    • Maeve makes a few sporadic appearances, but returns full-time the next spring/summer. She's back in time to see Bill and Michelle graduate, although she skulks around town and wasn't going to tell anyone she was alive. She comes back wearing this HUGE hat---which was a throwback to the old Vanesaa. lol.
    • Aww, yeah it's very heartbreaking and I mostly enjoyed the Nola/Vanessa scenes because they finally let their walls down and came together in a beautiful moment. So Nola was at the hospital already and bumped into Vanessa, who had MRI papers that fell out of her hand and Nola went down to pick them up and asked her what was going on. Later, Vanessa confided in her about her disease. Then, Nola told Zachary on the beach (he prodded her and already alluded to knowing something was going on with Van), and then Vanessa found out she told him and got a little upset. Now, however, Nola is strangely absent while everyone is mourning her death. I'm curious if Nola will actually tell people about her MRI results. I would assume so. Only Nola, Rick, Roger and Zachary know anything, although there is the MRI results letter from the mail that everyone has missed seeing at home. I'm sure it'll all come out at some point. But... I just saw the next episode and the opening already cut Vanessa out and added Dahlia and Zachary. I guess Maeve is gone for a long time

That will break my heart seeing the town continue to mourn her and assume she's dead. I can't wait to see her return though, and I have to imagine feelings will be torn between loving that she's alive and being very angry she did all of this. While I hate what Vanessa is doing, I'm happy to hear it's not totally against her character. I think you're right, had Henry still been around, she wouldn't put him through this. I'm still surprised she is with Bill, though. I get her feelings on Matt, because she wants him to move on, but still very heartbreaking. I'm glad this was Maeve's choice to have a break vs. being fired.    Interesting, so I'm curious to see who they eventually pair Phillip with. They're flirting with a Phillip/Annie pairing, but I'm not sure if they'll go that route with the Jeva drama, her growing pill addiction, and Rick's past with her.  Ugh, yeah I'm so sad to see Bridget do a total 180 in the last couple weeks. She has always been a strong character from what I've seen, but now she's just bending over backwards to get Hart to love her and it reeks of desperation. Yeah, sure, this new Hart is eye candy, but I'm already tired of seeing Hart/Dinah have sex all over Springfield and the Cayman Islands haha.
    • Yes.  I remember them together during the early summer of 1986.  They didn't share scenes again for 30 years until 2017 because Carrie wasn't on the show when Anna returned during Sydney's kidnapping.
    • I can see Kim being that way. Well, Kyle didn't have to say yes. LOL. The suicide attempt feels plot-driven. I don't know if even Long could've made it work. She'd spent so much time trying to make Reva and Kyle into a couple, it feels odd to just have them give up. Not to mention how odd it is to have Maeve agree to marry him. Re Charita---surely they could've at least tried  finding clips with who was still there. Maybe they wouldn't have been "big" moments, but surely she'd interacted with Ross, Vanessa, and Henry. Vanessa had dated Ed, FCOL. But Mo and Rick were there---surely they could've bothered to find some clips of her with them (and they did interact a fair amount) and used them. And with Ed they could've found some shot of her talking to him and just not cut to whoever was playing Ed in the clip. That to me is what feels lazy---they had more than a year to figure it out, and they went with a bunch of photos. If you were sort of centering it on Rick anyway---then find clips with them and use 'em.
    • I definitely think it's time to write off Nina for good. I think her killing Drew might actually be a good idea. She could completely lose it after losing both Sasha and Willow and she ends up murdering Drew and eventually she gets caught and sent away to prison for a long time.
    • I hope it's okay to post this here(as in from DC)
    • Quick question - did Christie and Leann share any scenes together in the '80s before Leann left the show?
