I did like Kelsey and the first Scott (Laura was alright until they had her spend all her time going around sneering and snarling at everyone for two years straight). The whole teen scene was a flop though, so much so that in a summer/fall '96 interview Francesca James (I think) essentially blamed them for ratings declines.

Isn't that wild? They treat actors the way they do the writers and producers, hiring them despite their lack of talent. I'm telling you all you have to prove in daytime is that you can do the work, not that you can do it well.

I remember losing my mind when Gaskill showed up on AMC. I'd watched and enjoyed him on Models Inc., where he had a good role as Linda Gray's son only to be unexpectedly written out midway through. Months later this grown-ass man showed up at a high school locker like 'how do you do, fellow kids?' I was maybe 14 and baffled.

I loved Kelsey. TC Warner got a raw deal. Could not stand Laura or Anita. None of the Scotts registered for me.

Jenny is so naive, poor thing. How long were they in the city for? Just that one summer?

The scene with Angie's father and Jesse's uncle (about 24:20 in) is great, I wish it wasn't cut off.

Darnell Williams and Kim Delaney had such amazing friend chemistry (of course we all know he could have chemistry with a brick wall). I wonder what would have happened if they hadn’t killed off Jenny.
