That scene is actually from August 24, 1987

. I think the partial episode is in the vault, and that's indeed where Nina and Jill were briefly in cahoots, because Cricket was in the car with Phillip when he was drunk driving, and Jill was trying to get Cricket fired from her modeling gig, because she kept the truth from Jill. I think Nina was the one who blabbed on Cricket? haha.

I'll have to watch the vault clips again, but I definitely think this is 2/28/89, based on the French Recap.

# 4049 02/28/1989 07/05/1993 Télé 7 jours (07/05/1993): Brad tries to escape and tries to call a taxi ... Télé Star (07/05/1993): Brad tries to escape by calling a taxi. Brittany confesses to George that she is in love with Paul. Nikki goes to Victor to have a conversation with him about the baptism of their son ..

In watching the 1989-95 episodes list on page 310, you can just feel a certain energy die down storyline wise beginning in 1994. Granted 94-97 is miles above what we have today, but not as great as 90-93 before it, and late 97-2001 after it.

I did enjoy Victor's shooting drama, the aftermath of Matt Clark's shooting and the scenes associated with Nathan's affair.

Anybody else as excited as me for Tracey Bregman’s upcoming 40th anniversary stand-alone tribute episode?? I literally cannot WAIT!

I’m hoping beyond hope we see some great flashbacks, more than anything her first appearance!

Per the recap on Usenet, the letter Paul receives is From April stating her and Heather were doing ok etc... I'm glad there was some follow up from the conclusion of the trial, even if it's still kind of Sad Heather never got to know Paul as her father, during this time.

At least we have Victor and Hope's wedding from the next day in French.

though I'd love to see the English version some day, especially to see Nikki's outburst on Victor and Hope.

Your welcome!

She was contemplating drinking, and even had found a bottle of vodka (which I forget if she had stashed somewhere and she forgot about it when she became "sober") but she didn't actually crash the wedding drunk!

I think the frat party started the following week.

I cannot for the life of me understand why Bill Bell tried so hard to make Joshua Morrow happen from Fall 1994 to Spring 1996 when the real hotness on the show was Shemar Moore.

    • Finally got to sit down and watch. Wow!  When LesDanLuAnn said to Ted, this your daughter. I started tearing up...... Eva got me.  I felt like I was watching a soap opera.

    • The drag was when Tad and Edmund went to Budapest (?) in 1997 to get Maddie back from Dimitri.
    • I know it's not happening but on the surface, there's nothing left for Leslie and Eva to do but to hightail it out of town, if they value their lives. Leslie has destroyed Ted's image, embarrassed and humiliated his wife and children, and unearthed the wrath of the entire Dupree family. She's crazier than I thought if she thinks they are just going to let this slide.
    • It will be amazing if we could record the skipped episodes. Did someone sent a list of the skipped youtube episodes to the guys that are filling in the gaps?
    •   I don't think they ever wanted Sprina to be popular and I don't think they will bring Spencer back until Trina is gone. They've worked hard to marginalize their black cast, and that is only increasing. Trina/Gio could have been an interesting relationship, but they would rather just whittle that character away and then write her out.
    • Daytime belonged to CBS. They would have been making a lot of $$$ with that lineup. For context, this is the lineup at that time. Only one soap on ABC (GH) and NBC (TD) which was still an anthology at that point. So it wasn't until the opposition added more soaps that they became competitive. NBC CBS ABC 10:00am Say When! • Per recent Twitch live: Wraps filming his new film on Friday. Begins a new film on May 19. Will resume regular Twitch streams soon. Has a lot of projects coming out later this year. His current project has kept him in Tennessee longer than he was meant to be.
    • Has BTG been using flashbacks much? Of course, as a new show there aren't many f/b worthy moments but I think they can get by w/o having to use/recreate the Leslie reveal scene. What other 'soap' tropes have they employed or ignored so far? We've talked about the lack of traditional cliffhangers with lingering camera shots. They have done a couple of fantasy scenes. Has anyone apart from Dana had talk to themselves scenes? Montages?
    • Thank You!!! @rsclassicfanforever and to anyone else who contributed to the vaults over the years. I have dipped in/out and gotten my life watching Y&R early years. I never would had the appreciation for characters like Lorie Brooks if not for the Vaults, so again, Thanks.
