Peggy needs to tell them it was a preventive surgery so she doesn't get cancer then change subject.

I loved Lydia getting iced out of the dinner.  This girl has said she doesn't like Shannon, nor does she like the drama and baggage Shannon brings...so of course, Shannon opts to not invite her and Lydia is surprised/hurt lol. She and Heather Dubrow are more alike then not.

Michael seemed ok on the whole -- he had her back in her fights with the other HWs without being a David Beador, her mother lives with them etc. Obviously nobody knows what goes on behind closed doors, though. She's a firecracker and he is controlling.

As for OC Divorce Watch:

-Eddie is not bolting unless CUT Fitness goes down the tubes and he gets saddled with paying off Ryan's debt. Anything to do with Ryan and his financials is a dealbreaker for Eddie.

-Jimmy has a good life seeing Meghan once every full moon and living 'his life' in St Louis. He also seems to adore spending time with baby Aspen. Only something which ends his TV career would probably force Meghan's hand. I don't think she signed on for richer, for poorer.

-Obviously Shannon is next. Never have I sign a more miserable, dead-eyed man than David. They must be staying together because of the show/ironing out the financials.

The sad irony is that Shannon's marriage is salvageable -- IF she wasn't such a self-obsessed drama queen. She is never happy and is always letting David know it. How is this incentive for him to keep the marriage going? The reason why Shannon is never happy is because everything is about HER, and everything has to be ABSOLUTELY PERFECT as she envisions it. I don't think I have ever seen her once ask David how he is doing or his opinion on something. She only relates to her family on a level of how it makes her feel. When things don't go her way or how she pictured it, she has an absolute meltdown. It is exhausting to watch and must be even more exhausting to live day-by-day. Imagine waking up every day wondering in what state of mind your spouse/mother is going to be? It must be like waiting for an explosion to go off.

OK, so it is Radar Online so take with a pinch of salt but... after rumors that Sonja, Ramona and Luann (yes! Luann. Talk about a boneheaded decision if true) were all fired, I am relieved. I don't think I could face seeing The Bethenny Show with just Carole and Tinsley, two of the most boring HWs in NY history. Truthfully, Ramona and Luann are two of my faves.

I never believed that story that they were getting rid of those 3. I think Bravo finally realizes that they got the right combo with this group. However, I've felt they've always got it right with NY since s7 as the show has been good since. If anything, they need to add Jill back for it to be perfect.

I am hearing rumblings (too) that Robyn and Karen might be demoted on Potomac, which would be stupid seeing as those 2 drove the most story at the reunion. I'm praying those rumors are false, and Bravo leaves Potomac alone. Again, all they need to do is add Katie back in, who is shooting s3. Just keep the current cast, add Katie, and let them be a strong group of 7 women.

If any show needs to get rid of cast members, it is OC and possibly NJ. The rest of the shows need to add new energy to the already established group if anything.

Absolutely. All those hateful hens cacklin' away, and Kelly took part. Tsk, tsk.   Are Vicki's text messages on the dramatic side? Sure. But she sounded like death and knows what strand of flu she had. Big deal.  Tamra, Shannon, Meghan's obsession with other peoples' health and diagnoses are obnoxious as hell.

Peggy held her own just fine. It's funny how there's a language and communication barrier, but she takes it in stride and knows they're just poking at her. I love how she dismisses them like water off a duck's back in her talking heads.

Meghan had me for about three episodes at the end of last season when she seemed wiser and above the foolishness, and then she came right back down to her usual insipid self.

For the most part, I love Lydia's take on the other women and am loving how she's getting under loony Shannon's skin.

Shannon is so close to a total breakdown. Her need to be top dog of this show, her paranoia that people don't like her, her paranoia (and rightfully so) that David's going to leave her or cheat on her again, and her endless excuses for gaining weight and continuing to shovel massive amounts of food in her mouth. For her own sake, this needs to be her last season. She is soooooooo draining to watch.

Yes! I just finished writing up the same sentiments before I read yours. Shannon is exhausting to watch and no doubt more exhausting for her family and those who interact around her. I'm sure she's always been this way, but being on RHOC has only fed the beast (figuratively, although...)

Let's see how jersey fares this upcoming season before we determine if they need a shake up.

NY might need to make an adjustment in the cast.  I truly think if brthenny were cut, we coukd actually see more about the other women especially Ramona and Luann.  I wish there were more Ramona dating disaster stories but sadly Bethenny is a leech when it comes to airtime.

I'm intrigued to see how BH will turn out..with Eileen gone..hoe will Rinna function?  Her spokesperson will be gone, so how will she fare?  Plus, more scenes of her daughter's making fun of Donna would be nice.

That's the one element I loved about early OC...the housewives teen children had talking heads regarding how crazy their mom's were.  We saw brief ones of Shannon and Peggy' s daughters making fun of their moms...its a nice added bonus..imho.

You and me both. In a way it's not their fault: mama has pushed them so hard to be the next Hadid sisters, but they are so lacking in the modelling department -- and in the personality department. Much as I dislike Yolanda, I really like her kids, they seem to have more than one braincell to rub together. They are also real models with the unique looks, cheekbones and stature. Rinna's girls, bless em, are like bumps on a log. No glow, no It factor, not much personality, somewhat dead-eyed. They don't really wow me as catwalk models either. It definitely surprises me because Rinna has TONS of personality and her eyes sparkle. And Harry Hamlin is sexy AF and has true-blue Hollywood presence.

Perhaps Donna is autocorrect's way of saying Rinna?

Now that I sitting somewhere with good internet...

...THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!! That made my day.

NENE: BLOOP!!!! Go on and gather Porsha together. Other than that, it looks like she will be stirring the pot. I just hope that she is fun, but humble Nene.

CNYTHIA: Nice to see her moving on. BOO to Peter trying to start drama. And I hope that she does not go flipflop on Kenya and just rid-or-die.

TOYOTA: Why you still here? So Nene can dogwalk her a$$$, that's why.

KANDI: Looks like she will be sitting herself out. But with some good shade.

SHEREE: oooooooo...is she going to get real this season?

KENYA: For someone who reportingly was not much seen this season due to her marriage, it looks like she is everyone's storyline this season. Love that HER CLAWS ARE OUT.

    • I was watching some August 1987 episodes and they brought back so many memories. I had some thoughts: Lisa and Jamie were so dull. Lisa was such a nothing character. It boggles my mind that so much story was centered around her in such a short amount of time. Joanna Going is a talented actress, but the material was just not there.  It was so good to see Wallingford and Mitch again. I know there was talk about Felicia a while back, but these episodes reminded me how integral Felicia was for the show.  Sally Spencer was done so dirty. She is turning in superb performances in an icky storyline. I wish she had stuck around longer. She has chemistry with everyone. The McKinnons should have lasted longer. Spencer had some strong stuff with Stephen Schnetzer and Mary Alexander. AW waster such a talented actress by getting rid of her. Justice for Cheryl too. I also missed Ed Fry when he left. Sandra Ferguson was a star from the moment she came on. She was charismatic and just popped. She had immediate chemistry with RKK and blended in well with Wyndham and Watson. I'd forgotten about the teenage Matthew.  I have no memory of Peggy Lazarus. She must not have lasted long. Was the original plan for John that he was going to turn out to be the twins' real father?
    • If the new and improved copies that @rsclassicfanforever has uploaded can be manually moved into the "by month, by year" folders, that would be awesome. I personally don't think it's necessary to keep the older versions (which either have Dutch subtitles hard coded on them, or are lesser in picture quality). That's a lot of valuable drive space that could be cleared. Just my view but can appreciate others may feel differently. The structure had been by month by year previously, so I think it would be easier to conform to that, where so much prior work to get it to that format has already been done. Hopefully you can "drag and drop" so the new copies are in the right month/year? Re Clips, I never look at them now we pretty much have the episodes in full. Appreciate others may use, however. Thanks for all your hard work here @BoldRestless!
    • Oh yes defintely, Josh Griffith repeats and repeats the same storylines.
    • Isnt’t this storyline similar to the Cameron Kirsten situation though? Sharon thought she killed him. He ended up being alive and Sharon was being tormented with thinking she was seeing his face everywhere and that’s how we got that iconic scene with her and Nikki in the sewers.   I understand in Mariah’s case this is different circumstances but it does seem like a play on that whole thing. Maybe I’m wrong. I just wish if they were going to make any character follow in Sharon’s foot steps it would be Faith. Mariah wasn’t even raised by her, and her personality is different. I would expect her to take a different path. I understand I could be completely jumping ahead because the storyline hasn’t even played out yet but we’ll see.
    • Thanks again @Paul Raven Monica was completely without redeeming qualities at this point. I always found the whole Monica = Carly narrative regressive, as I don't think shows comparing characters so heavily is ever a great idea, but she's actually worse than Carly was. Was it the Pollocks who had Leslie have a miscarriage?  Giving her a child, especially by rape, was not a good idea, but a part of me wishes they'd committed to it just to see what story it might have had in later years.
    • @janea4old Your detailed explanation and delving into the psychology and motivations is no doubt the opposite of what we will see onscreeen. As @ranger1rg stated we will get a few scenes and some sketchy explanations. Like the adoption of Aria, most of it will take place off screen.
    • I'm suddenly fearful that DAYS is going to pull a Flowers-for-Algernon stunt and Bo's progress will be reversed.  While @te. is stuck on Abe's tiny bedroom, I can't stop thinking of the size of Bo's huge hospital room.
    • Okay, why are Paulina and Abe sleeping like that?!  I'd take a screen grab if I wasn't lazy, but come on.
    • All caught up on this week's episodes. Deidre Hall has done the best work of her career with this series of episodes. That is her tribute to Drake. Every acting choice has been perfect. From her reaction the moment John flatlined, to her snapping at Abe and Paulina (what a smart, realistic writing choice), to her grief playing the text message over and over. Josh Taylor did the best work of his career in the scene with Kayla telling him John had died. Everything about his facial expression, voice, pronunciation, everything was so different from what he usually does. He was overcome with the emotion of it and any of his acting tics disappeared. Peter Reckell and Kristian Alfonso were great. One thing I noticed with the flashbacks of John/Marlena and Bo/Hope is that Bo and Hope are constantly smiling at each other. The chemistry those two have cannot be faked. It's clear the writing team decided to clean up Bo and Hope and give fans a happy ending for them, neatly wrapped up in a bow. The juxtaposition of Bo and Hope reclaiming their happiness thanks to John, while Marlena is dealt life's harshest blow from John's sacrifice, was another great writing choice. Marlena even saying that to Eric, that she is paying for Bo's recovery with John's life, was such smart writing. Susan Seaforth Hayes was used very effectively between the two storylines. I really enjoyed the scene of Kate talking to Philip, calmly stating that she will make Xander pay. Overall, the show should be lining these episodes up for the Emmys and Deidre should be carefully choosing her scenes for her own reel. She deserves a Best Actress Emmy for this work. The first time I have felt that way about her work. Peter Reckell should submit himself for Guest for the scenes where he found out Victor is dead because he was genuinely heartbreaking. Josh Taylor should throw his name down for Supporting Actor for his scenes. The show deserves a Writing and Best Show for what they've done with the episodes around John and Bo. It was heavy stuff and I feel for the actors. I am so impressed with what they did.
