OLTL: Discussion for the week February 22

It's the way a lot of kids are written now. That's one of the reasons I almost never watch Two and a Half Men, that little boy was nasty and crude and we were supposed to guffaw on cue.

Everything with Jack is so forced. One day Tea is a mother figure. The next he pervs over her. The next he doesn't care about her. One day he cares about Blair. Then it's Blair who? One day Todd is the perfect father. The next day Todd is a loser he has to put up with. The only real constant is the labored attempts at smart-aleck dialogue.

As for them winking at the age gap, the question is why did they need to make this age gap in the first place? Even if the show needed boring Danielle, there was no reason she had to be a Todd/Tea child. It's not like her presence has been any help to them -- it led to the same dull non-scenes for months and helped drive OLTL to ratings lows.
