Members Mr. Vixen
Days is totally the soap of 2009/2010. Who would have ever thought they could just rise up and beat out Bold and Beautiful like that. Honestly I think they deserve it. As much as I LOVE B&B, it has been so boring these past couiple of weeks! :/
Members SOAPSFOREVER
DISAGREE about B&B. It was rockin' this week, with Steffy taking it to Bill. Worst soap on the air for me is OLTL. Dreadful. ATWT is way too plot driven. That's why it continues at the bottom.
Members Mr. Vixen
I dont like the story with Steffy. She is a real bitch these days. I dont mind her having a fling with Bill, that was okay, but she has such an "im better than you" air to her...And she jus tcomes off as a bitch these days. This whole week was kind of boring to me...And I am really pissed that they have made Sandy/Agnes interested in Nick. It was inevitable, but yet very disappointing. I think DAYs was far better this week. ATWT has drawn me in too, but i almost agree with what you said about it being too plot driven.
Members Soapsuds
Hmmmm..why the big drops for the CBS soaps from Tuesday to Wednesday?? The numbers didnt recover for the rest of the week.
Members Mr. Vixen
People realized that they were slipping into a coma and quickly switched the channel in order to save themselves from brain death... Just kidding, Y&R was pretty good this week. ATWT was decent too. B&B let me down.
Members skiman12082004
So happy for AMC and DAYS. Great to see year over year increases for some of the soaps.
Members Mr. Vixen
Agreed. The only shows that are DOWN since last year are B&B and ATWT...So, 4 out of 6 having an increase is pretty good!
Members bellcurve
Man, they must have some serious Kool-Aid in the drink fountain at the TV City Commissary.

Members Mr. Vixen
Let's hope. Maybe if they have a good enough year, we will se an all new one in the next couple years. Wishful thinking, Wishful thinking, i know....
Members Kryptonite
It might be wishful thinking but I like it and its good to have positive reports coming out of the ratings these past few weeks for the first time in years. If soaps continue the route their going like you said we could see a new one get in the picture or NBC get back to airing two of them.
Members Ann_SS
I think that people need to remember that the soaps tend to do best in January and February due to the cold weather. What we are seeing are temporary increases in viewership.
Members Soapsuds
Yup, we've had a worse winter this year than last. These numbers wont last. It really is only a slight increase in ratings. The soap ratings are still in the 2's nothing to write home about.
Members AS THE WORLD TURNS
ATWT being the other one for NBC. Wishful thinking but I hope it happens. Like anyone cares.
