January 5, 201016 yr Member Depends. If it happens, can I come back and kick your ass? Well, you could try. I mean through the talks you guys have said that she has managed to stay on the show regime after regime so they'll finally promote her. I don't watch AMC, so I could care less, but it's just something that popped into my head. Edited January 5, 201016 yr by Amello
January 5, 201016 yr Author Administrator Rebecca Taylor as HW of AMC! You think it could happen? I don't think it could happen, but I would choose her (even if she's only been a SW) over LML. Just say no to LML. Depends. If it happens, can I come back and kick your ass? My dream team would be Rebecca Taylor and Amanda L. Beall. Make it happen, Frons!

January 5, 201016 yr Member My dream team would be Rebecca Taylor and Amanda L. Beall. Make it happen, Frons! My dream team is Jean Passanante. Make it happen Frons!!
January 5, 201016 yr Member My dream team is Jean Passanante. Make it happen Frons!! Oh it'll happen. On OLTL.
January 5, 201016 yr Member Actually, I have a sneaking suspicion that Jean Passanante will end up back at OLTL once ATWT is canceled. I'm not sure, though, whether she'll come back as Co-HW, or as an associate one.
January 6, 201016 yr Member Question, what does an Associate Writer do? I'm curious because I wonder how much power Lorraine Broderick will have to be able to clean up the mess Pratt made. Will she be an acting HW, or just an Associate Writer as she is now?
January 6, 201016 yr Member Question, what does an Associate Writer do? I'm curious because I wonder how much power Lorraine Broderick will have to be able to clean up the mess Pratt made. Will she be an acting HW, or just an Associate Writer as she is now? She's in charge of the writing...for however long. She just doesn't get the title... the same way whichever of the associate headwriters wrote the show in-between McTavish and B&E were still officially just associate headwriters.
January 6, 201016 yr Member Jamey at DC said Lorraine herself is saying this is just a temporary situation for her, but who knows... I'm still lost as to why Frons would hire someone to be a temporary transition head-writer when he could have let someone on the existing team do that and not have to pay for someone else. Who is Frons seriously considering to be the full time Head Writer for AMC? It should be an interesting next couple of months for that show...
January 6, 201016 yr Member Thanks, I wasn't sure what an AW did. Really? I wasn't aware that LB said that.
January 6, 201016 yr Member Really? I wasn't aware that LB said that. That's what Jamey was claiming in DC's "Best and Worst of 2009" podcast, so take it for what it's worth.
January 7, 201016 yr Member I hope LB gives an interview to SOD or something soon, maybe she could clear the air as to how long she's really going to be at AMC. I keep reading mixed reviews everywhere...I want to hear it or read it from her herself.
January 7, 201016 yr Member Isn't Jamey the one who has been reporting stuff that AMC has denied, but ended up being true, like the move to LA? If so, then I believe him
