My mom, when she was alive, loved Zimme4 as NOLA, Echo, and Jodie on SB..but didn't like her as Reva.  I did see her 1983 Echo..loads different than Reva

Once of the best conclusions to a storyline, ever. It took about 2 years from start to finish from when Zaslow returned to the role of Roger in 1978 to his fall from the cliff in Santa Domingo on April 1, 1980. Stellar performances by everyone involved. Zaslow and Garrett should have each won an Emmy for their work during 1979.

Interesting that the CBS promos labelled the show The Guiding Light when the title officially  changed to Guiding Light a few years before.

Kim made Nola her own in no time flat. Kim looks great in these 70's fashions.

BTW, are Elizabeth Levin and David Cherrill still the HW's at this point?  Who are their associate writers?

That promo would have made me watch even if I had no clue what GL was. And I might say Ed was looking very DILFY in this commercial, something PS never was..Marland was a dumbass for that.

I only watched a little of the Doctors before class and Zimmer was a site...its too bad she had to be REVA all the time..she played conflicted bad girl great..

At this point, yes. Associate writers under their watch have included Arlene Stadd, D.R. Brite (a pseudonym?), Bettie Wysor and Marsha Sheiness.

Mart Hulswit had noticeably slimmed down by the time the Santa Domingo storyline rolled around. I wonder if that was dictated by the studio? Don Stewart was already buffed up and ready to go. Notice how they had Ed in a button up and Mike in a tight-fitting polo shirt 😄. They were also using the pool more during the summer of 1980, so Mart was still slim during that time period, as well.

I love watching the Bauer boys as action guys LOL.. Was this what Rauch was trying to copy when he had Matt and Josh try to scale that San Crud wall to "save" Reva???

Mike was always kind of sanctimonious..(would have loved him and BevAlex together...when he would discover her shenanigans "Were you just blackmailing Reva"?) Alex "Uh, no she was trying to share a recipe of hers, but as I have not developed a taste for skunk I had to pass." ) but Ed, he just looks like someone you want to eat some of his home made lasagna with in the Bauer kitchen and not let the night end there. Marland would sniff at that and say "Chubby Chaser!"  : )

I enjoyed them too.  I thought early Mindy and Rusty were very cute together.

I have a little more mixed feelings about Johnny (all the singing mainly and I don't know if he was a leading man - he's OK though) but I liked Rusty. There was a real sweetness about Terrell Anthony that I connected with.

I liked Rusty. I didn't like Johnny. Didn't hate him either. But i him found boring. I liked James Goodwin on AW better.
