April 14, 200916 yr Member I don't see there truly being and end game with Phick/Shick. I realize there are quite a few posters who have not enjoyed MS's work while being paired with JM. But, at the beginning of Phick and up until LML started writing them like a soap opera married couple, they were great, crackling fun. The writers are probably going to write both couples into the ground before giving the partners a break and starting up again all over again. This triangel is GOLD. There is no way they will stop writing story beats for all three of these characters. full agreement In last weeks soap magazines, there were a couple of comments that caught my eye. For one, there was a lot of talk abou the Phick love. JM went on and on, rather randomly, about how much Nick was in love with Phyllis. He referred to Sharon as "unfinished business". WTF? It felt like they were starting to back off of the nastyness of this story and redeem Nick. It was also mentioned that Nick would probably forgive Phyllis because he will know that he caused her meltdown. Huh? Phyllis calls Sharon a thousand names and, even if she was right, he is going to start thinking clearly NOW that Phyllis has set Sharon up for an arrest? The preview was just weird and got me thinking that there was a big step in another direction coming up very soon.--and it wasn't a Phick divorce or Shick reunion. Hmmm....from your speculation to God's ears! Sharon and Nick are written with more care and gentleness but certainly less maturity. I enjoyed their more evolved selves better than the inmature versions on my screen now. I would be willing to bet that Nick is going to have to watch Sharon bear Jack's child. Enter Mary Jane/(IMO)Patty . I agree with you, and I like how you think. At this point,I would like to see Nick rejected by both women.Their individual journeys would make interesting viewing,if played right. Yup! The Phyllis break in was ridiculous. She gats a uniform and pass key and trashes the place.Leaves an anonymous call to police, who come rushing in and assume stuff is stolen. Please! I'm worried Phyllis is going to get caught...and I don't want to see her in jail again.
April 14, 200916 yr Member I know.... like what is he even doing there? You'd think they would force him to step up his game, but unfortunately he's giving all that's there.... a whole lot of nothing. I don't know where you're seeing this. He's reacting...not in a showy way (thank heavens), but with pain...

April 14, 200916 yr Member It's probably just constipation. or disgust that he went from sexy phyliss to.... well, sharon.

April 14, 200916 yr Member She resigned when Nick went back to Phyllis after their first Cabin boink. I really wish that Phyllis had donned her southern fat suit and make-up for the break in. That way if there were cameras, it wouldn't automatically come back to her. I was thinking they might fingerprint, but then Phyllis could say her printers were there from before when Sharon was there and security dragged her out. I'm not so sure she didn't want to get caught. It was sort of a half-assed attempt. Old school Phyllis would have been more careful. While Shick was having sex and Phyllis was breaking in Sharon's hotel room I don't remember anyone mentioning Summer or where she was during all of this....... It was mentioned on Friday that Summer was with Nikki.
April 14, 200916 yr Member 9 pages from one episode? Unbelievable! I hated that Phyllis cut up Sharon's clothes. Just like Dru did to Carmen Mesda's stuff. That's lame... even though Phyllis was scheming the whole time and knew what she was doing, watching that sartorial destruction again was like revisiting a bad memory. Let's leave LML in the past, shall we? In fact, during that entire meltdown, I didn't even see Phyllis. All I saw was Dru with her long weave, going bonkers on Carmen's clothes. I hope this wasn't the writers' intention. I don't know why they'd want to compare Phyllis and Dru. Are they comparing to reveal Phyllis's inner lunacy? Are they foreshadowing Phyllis going to the asylum as Dru did? I just don't like that idea at all. I did like how Phyllis's shriek of rage overlapped Nick and Sharon's lovemaking. It wasn't a fantasy. Neither Nick nor Sharon were enraptured by their long-lost, coulda-woulda-shoulda memories. They both knew what they were doing was wrong while they were doing it and they did it anyway IMO. This must mean that Nick and Phyllis are through, right? When was Kevin in a mental institution? I thought this was for a brief period during his time at Genoa City. But looking through his character profile online, I didn't find anything. So this must be prior to him coming to Genoa City. Does anyone remember when he was there?
April 14, 200916 yr Member It was mentioned on Friday that Summer was with Nikki. Thanks soapy I missed that mention on Friday..... I found it funny to see Phyllis ripping up brightly colored undies and etc of Sharon's but every time she and Nick do the deed she's got her black bra and panties on.....
April 14, 200916 yr Member What I found funny was -- Phyllis spent ages cutting up lingerie. Sexy underwear. I didn't see Sharon's clothes getting the scissor treatment. Just her Lifetime Supply of Brooke's Bedroom undergarments! How many drawers-full of that stuff did she have? I felt it was Y&R's nod-and-wink to all those posters who comment on Sharon stripping down every two seconds in a brand-new piece of sexy lingerie. She even wears them under her flannel pjs on an alone-time retreat to the cabin!

Its so fascinating to watch. When Phyllis called Michael (I was so waiting for her to do that, and she did) I got tears in my eyes. Phyllis is in a bad, bad place right now and Michelle sold it so well.
