  1. Cancelled my cable yesterday and will only watch TWD with my friends who download. I have been paying too much for this channel with only one show worth watching. The recent decisions I hope don't serve it badly but have left me with very little hope for the shows future. Good luck TWD, you need it with boring old Mad Men at the helm!
  2. I don't blame any of them at the cabin, that crazy fart was going to open the door and let the cannibals in. A crazy fart in an unlocked rickety cabin who was lying in bed with nothing to live for? Michonne made the right call. We also have to remember that Rick and co. just lost T-Dog and Lori because Rick threw a live man out the door and considered him toast, just as Merle did with Michonne, who he has reported to the governor is dead. Next week I think he's going to find out how trustworthy his lead enforcer is. Its going to be interesting to see who's hands Merle dies by and I hope it is his own brother who slices him open and tosses him to the walkers. I really thought the Governor was going to rape Maggie. The Lead Exec on the show however said there is no comic book arc they will shy away from, which makes me wonder if he is going to rape someone this season. Why anyone is surprised by Glen's Warrior is beyond me. He was the first down in the tunnels in the Shopping store in Season 1, the one who volunteered to be Well Zombie Bait. He might not be a leader, but its not always the power hungry who step up when needed. Kinda glad its taking a break, can go back to waiting for it to be Friday instead of Sunday's again!
  3. I don't think the baby is as much a liability as everyone thinks. These people need some hope in their lives and if all babies are going to die instantly and not live at all, what is the point in going on and not just popping a bullet into the head? I literally creamed myself when Darryl picked up that baby and fed her. Have never been longing to have one of my own, but that was before last night, seeing Darryl I realized I just haven't met a worthy warrior man! I don't blame Andrea at all. Before last night she has been given no idea that this Woodbury Bunch is nuttier than anyone else still alive in the new world. I don't think in the 8 months since Michonne saved her life that she's learned much about her or her pets. Yes she has kept her safe, but Andrea is obviously longing for companionship and is finally getting some. I think the rug muncher comment of Merle's was very telling and gives me the impression Andrea does go both ways but her and Michonne are not that close. Michonne's gut feeling would not be enough to make me leave either. Especially after the Hershel farm, where it seems to be a psychological norm that makes people keep their zombie children and wives alive, while looking for a cure, rather than chopping off their arms and jaws and dragging them around on chains. As for the rest of the show, I think the prison stuff might have jumped the shark. Zombies are now dragging around their fresh meat and not plunking right down for the snack as they all have been shown to do to date? I'd sooner believe that Carol dragged her around the corner in an attempt to save her life. Or that Carl did not have it in him to shoot her in the head and instead shot her in the neck or shoulder and she dragged her zombie self away, but not before that Zombie had munched a good chunk. Otherwise it makes no sense, how would a Zombie eat her bones and all, in less time than those walkers that chewed a good amount off TDog but still left a recognizable body? As for Carol, I think that red headed Junkie has nabbed her and hidden her somewhere. These men have been without sex for ages and finding an alone vulnerable female, seems more a ticket to sex slavery than a walker attack. I find it ridiculous they'd bury a scarf.
  4. Something about the trophy case makes me think the Governor was more like Dexter than Human before the Zombies took over. Looking forward to next weekend!
  5. Well Alan Ball retired from True Blood with a Bang, or is that a Splat?! Loved it, can't wait for next season, something I've never said for the show before, or an of the books it is based on.
  6. What I can't help but wonder is who made Russell and where are the really ancient vampires hiding out?
  7. I'm enjoying it too, now that the side characters are back to being that, and we are focusing on the main characters. I like that Bill is unpredicatble and from the looks of it, totally buying into this snake oil that Salome is pedling. Hopefully this is a start of something edgy for the rest of the show and not a fleeting storyline that will be wiped clean away by seasons end along with the authority which I think will be demolished. The audience who is devoted to their "favorites" need to wake up and realize that Alan Ball' s shows are comprised of grey characters, not black and white. Bill is not good, he's a vampire, and all the vampires on this show have been shown to be selfish, blood sucking fiends, with a few being more in control of the fiend in them than others. This is not twilight and the sooner those who think it is quit watching out of disgust, the better. And BTW now that Hoyt has gone to Alaska, I hope we get a super dirty, sex scene with Jessica and Jason.
  8. Just heard the other day on one of those daytime doctor shows that Botox can migrate to other muscles in the body and cause serious health problems. Hope these actresses are putting money aside for future health care.
  9. I've only seen three and am really bored and I hear the same thing from others. One thing I'm missing is any kind of sense of humor. Sorry but I really think the only people who could survive a zombie apocalypse would be those who can laugh in the face of death.
  10. Jack Wagner finally opted for the Botox as evidenced by Friday's B&B. Too bad his character is such a hypocritical douche that nothing will make him a romantic leading man on that show.
  11. Why was Mercedes directed to scream out Sweet Transvestite? That song needs to be sung, not used to show how loud someone can be.
  12. I'm more concerned about the number of parents who are whining about this because their little kids watch Glee. If that is the case they must be assuming that a show with singing and high school kids is wholesome entertainment when it is anything but. Even just last week they had Brittany popping Artie's Cherry just so he'd sing with her and Brit and Santana kissing because the girl can't sleep without a bit of action before bed and Puck "is" in the slammer. If I had kids I wouldn't want them seeing teenage girls using sex to get what they want. I feel kinda sorry for that Lea Michelle. She's trying way to hard to prove that she's not unattractive and ugly instead of letting her talent shine & she just looks desperate and pathetic.
  13. I loved the River Deep Mountain High version from Santana and Mercede's, best one I've heard since Tina Turner's original and it has been done by some of the best voices out there.
  14. I'm enjoying this season better than last, although I haven't seen tonight's episode. Their werewolves are certainly much more to fear than the lame ass ones on True Blood.
  15. I've been really disappointed by the overabundance of trash characters this season but I really enjoyed most of the finale. Good job Alan Ball, leading the lambs to the slaughter.
  16. What do you like about her? I just find it is getting harder to like the girl who started out saving a Vampire from the Ratray's but now just sits back and screams for someone to rescue her when faced with danger. This show is making the Books look so much better, because in them, at least Sookie is a woman who can kick ass and fight back.
  17. I hated the Dream Sequence it was cheap, corny, boring and Buffy did it better. I'm so sick of every Eric moment in the Books being turned around and given to Bill to make him the frigging Hero and make Sookie look like a weak bimbo.
  18. Yeah being tortured by an evil little Toad. Besides, maybe Jessica's Maker will finally step up and show her how to do a few things other than mix bottles of blood.
  19. "I will rip out your Ribcage and wear it as a hat", Buffy to Whistler, Becoming Part 2 and Lorena to Sookie, lol. I think Alan Ball might have finally watched Buffy because so many things in that episode were shout outs. Jason wearing a highschool jacket that looked a lot like the Sunny Dale High ones. Pulling a jock out of a red convertible with a QB One license plate so reminded me of Cordy's red car with the Queen Bee plate. This episode would have been absolute perfection if it wasn't for that Chrystal and Jason crap, I just can't get interested in it. Most of their casting is spot on but she's just blah. What does Jason see in her? MK is a stunning force of nature in the role of Lorena. I can't believe that her torturing Bill made me feel more sorry for her than for him. I am going to miss her and all her delightful outfits if she's AB should have back story drops of True Blood and one of them featuring Lorena. Why is she the way she is, Bill mentioned her maker so I would like to see him.
  20. This season started out being my favorite but Sam and Jason's storylines are really dragging it down. Jason has gone from fun stupid to just stupid stupid. How did he graduate from high school, get a drivers license, become supervisor of the road crew if he can't take an exam? This character should be maturing after the life changing events of the last two years, not going backwards. Sam's family is just sick and perverted, there is nothing fun about them, and the spoilers sound like its just going to get worse. I'd prefer both storylines be cut in half or eliminated and a little more air time given to the more interesting storylines. For me the saving grace of this last show was King Russel, Talbot and Franklin. They are all so eccentric and entertaining and completely overshadowed the leads. The beginning really bothered me because Eric should have been able to get to Lou Pines as he was already in Jackson. They really left a cliffhanger with no follow through, but that would have taken away from Bill's hero play later in the episode. Luckily next week looks more promising.
  21. Yeah she's still around with her head on straight in the preview for the next episode. But if they follow the book
  22. I don't think she forced him to have sex with her. The show made a very big point of writing that Bill was released and is therefore acting on his own free will To me the point was that anyone is capable of evil. And there are no angels on this show, human or vamp.
  23. Just watched New Moon. I wish Victoria would kill insipid Bella!

  24. Censorship is not the answer. I really don't believe that some man is going to suddenly break the neck of his sexual partner trying to repeat this act because he saw it on tv. If that happens, that man was looking to do it anyways, or something else, and is only using this show as an excuse. I am far more fearful of the video games out there that promote violence and even rape towards women, because they are aimed at pubescent males.
  25. Well this episode had its really good and bad points. As usual I really enjoyed the Eric scenes, with Sookie and especially the ones later with Laf, "Hello Sweetheart". Eric points out what I've been saying since before the season aired, fresh dug graves Jessica. Please let something eat Sam's father, and spit out those dirty nasty underpants. Was it my imagination or did the old sicko have a hard on while watching poker and grasping his son's leg. Man that family is fucked up. Since the one playing Tommy is a regular I sure hope he's the only Mickens that will be sticking around. Maybe Jessica can scare him straight. Tara is getting on my last nerve with her poor pity me act. I really hope she returns to the butt kicking bitch from season one that I'm still clinging to hope she'll become again. If she doesn't, kill her off. That sex with Franklin was so not sexy. We're supposed to think that sex with a vamp is all that, but all I saw was a lot of eye fluttering that someone accurately described as watching a seizure. Another thing that bothers me is Sookie making all the amends in the relationship with Tara? They could have at least showed Tara cleaning the house when her new Boyfriend came over, since she's the one who let in the monster that trashed it in the first place. Despite Tara, Franklin is one of my new favorite characters, especially with Jessica. Pulling that head out of the bag and moving the mouth while talking has me hooting and hollering every damn time. It is such a vampire thing to do. Lestat did a similar thing in Interview with the Vampire when he was dancing around with Claudia's mother's corpse while Louie stood there horrified. My other favorite new vamp is Talbot. Whining about his prized tapestry being used to put Lorena out. I also love Russel with his comments about it being Armageddon every time someone chips a dessert glass. Priceless. No concern over the un-evolved bitch. Then again later when comparing werewolves to boxes of rocks and finding the boxes and rocks being insulted. Please TB writers, keep Talbot. Speaking of boxes of rocks, where are Sookie's brains? Eric is right that her obsession with Bill is going to get her killed. Well not really (star of the show and all) but probably others will be unnecessarily injured, or killed, saving her from herself. Why was she going off with that Ware when she'd already found out that he was involved in taking Bill? How was Alcide able to get an upper hand and land several punches on Gus before Gus's buddies held him so Gus could fight back. I found the intro to Alcide a little bit of a let down since all his scenes had basically been shown in the previews. In the Book he and Sookie get to know each other a bit in the truck ride to Jackson and I would have liked to see that. Even if they did do it like a drop of true blood to ease the two week wait till the next episode. Now onto the main line of the story, Bill's poor life stuck between a rock in and a hard place. Just what does he do for Sophie Anne that makes him such a "promising young vampire" that Russel would piss of Lorena by letting Sookie go free, just to have him on his team? It can't just be his IN with the Telepath, because Russel does not seem to know that about Sook, unless he's just playing his cards close to his chest. I sure hope at some point to get a flashback to Lorena's life. There is something seriously wrong with a woman that carries an 80 plus year torch for a man who hates the sight of her. Surely in all her time she has run across men who want her. There is a lot of talk going on about the final sex scene and whether Bill raped Lorena or whether she raped him with her makers compelling. To me it came across as Bill trying to get his point across in a horrible way that they will never have or make "Love" but to her anything he does to her is alright because she loves him enough for them both. Even the National Organization for Women (wow) are having a hissy, but where were they when Tara and Eggs were beating on each other and acting like it was ok?
