All 3 of these characters are damaged and as long as this is acknowledged, then it will be worth investing in.

Doris has mentioned Sharon has had these episodes before,so she needs help. She seems to have hit rock botton.

Phyllis has long standing mental issues.

Nick is emotionally immature.

At this point,I would like to see Nick rejected by both women.Their individual journeys would make interesting viewing,if played right.

Right now,Nick is playing sexual ping pong and these women are going along.

It's hard to see where the rooting value lies.

Maybe,if Nick had conforted Sharon and held her, rather than banging her,we might believe his sincerity and 'love'.

I want to see Nikki involved,Victor's perspective etc.

And can we please see these characters at work, having to deal with all of this and kep that dumb magazine on track.

What happened to Sharon and 'Beauty of Nature'?

The Phyllis break in was ridiculous. She gats a uniform and pass key and trashes the place.Leaves an anonymous call to police, who come rushing in and assume stuff is stolen. Please!

She resigned when Nick went back to Phyllis after their first Cabin boink.

I really wish that Phyllis had donned her southern fat suit and make-up for the break in. That way if there were cameras, it wouldn't automatically come back to her. I was thinking they might fingerprint, but then Phyllis could say her printers were there from before when Sharon was there and security dragged her out.

For the life of me I will never understand Shick's appeal. They're just so... Disney. They are the definition of plastic. Barf!

The Phick pairing did wonders for Nick's character. He loosened up and developed a personality and a sense of humor. Acting opposite Stafford made Morrow a much better actor. Now all of that is gone and he (both the actor and the character) has become a boring, stiff lump of wood again. It won't be long before Nelson Branco adds Morrow to his "hair models" list. What a waste.

I saw no change in Morrow's "acting" when he was paired with Stafford. To be fair, it was Sharon Case who carried that Shick pairing on the acting front for years anyway.

However, it was Stafford's acting that suffered greatly from being paired with Morrow. She didn't recover acting-wise until Phyllis and Nick drifted apart recently, and I certainly don't want her acting like she did the 3 previous years.

Stafford deserves better than Morrow period, that's why I'm all for BadZoe's idea!

I just dont understand how anyone can root for Nick & Sharon. They have had the same thing for like 10+ years now.

In love. One cheats, the other cheats, or one thinks the other cheated so they cheat, or someone plots to break them apart and one cheats. one always cheats on the other. neither will ever change. hes a slut, shes a slut.

I love that Phyliss' marriage that she got via affair is ending in an affair. thats why i dont feel sorry for her. I also dont feel for sorry for Sharon, having an affair with a married man (even if it his her ex and hes married to the woman he cheated with). Shes also out slutting it up with her husbands brother right before he gets married.

    • I guess he was let out the gates, because he's outside.
    • Yup.  You can hate John all you want, but like seriously he was the cornerstone of the show for years.  So he should get a long ass funeral and burial and all the things because Drake and John deserve that.

      look who’s at a party I’m at
    • Yes. We should absolutely move on from John/Drake's 40 year legacy on the show to see what Leo is going to do tomorrow.  Lol.  This can't be a serious post.

I came in with a dream and left with a purpose. From lecture halls to rehearsals, community work to creative sets, every moment shaped me. I’m so proud of the stories I’ve told here — and the ones still unfolding. Grateful to everyone who poured into me, supported me, challenged me, and believed in me. Fours up and peace out! #UCLA #ClassOf2025 #BlackBruinExcellence #YearbookVideo @jordanward
    • The actor who plays Martin has been teasing that nobody has guessed Martin's secret. I love that for things like that and the June story we have no idea. I feel like if we didn't have the day ahead feeds Anita's reveal would've been shocking as well. I love that they aren't going the obvious route with these stories.
    • I tried following the news in Los Angeles at https://laist.com (independent public radio and news) They had up-to-the minute accurate info during the wildfires in January. There's no video, no impact to my mind as to what's happening. Trying other outlets, to get the truth, but it's hard.
    • That's a bit murky since that happened during a writers' strike. Assuming Kristen Marie had a 2-year contract she left about when her contract would have expired and Sharlene and Josie showed up right before that. Lemay was officially credited as HW from September 1988 but it seems very probable that his anticipated tenure influenced events that happened during the strike which started in April.
    • I've seen so many posters over the years who are bright, creative, well-versed in soap history, and who care deeply about the integrity of the genre. I'd put the shows' chances in their hands a lot faster than I would allow any of the "usual suspects" to take control of the dramas they've already helped decimate. When I returned to university in the 1980s, I created a bible for a new soap and presented it in my screenwriting class. It was in reaction to how badly I saw the network shows being butchered at the time. The creative process was thrilling; a total joy, and I still smile when I remember the positive feedback I received from the professor and my fellow students. I was used to seeing written commentary from professors on my work. This one wrote me a long, complimentary note on the final page of the bible, but also graded it 97%, A+. I was beaming ear to ear for days!
