Members Sylph
This whole industry is at times so pathetic that's it's just hysterical.
Members Y&RWorldTurner
Since CBS owns half of the CW, I wonder if they just shifted the Daytime Emmy's to their bastard network...
Members MarkH
Yes, I guess I'm biased, but for me the CW is merely one step up from a webcast. In my town, CW is not even HD. You get these grainy blurry pics and all these blasted teen shows. Even though they are serials, I can't stomach them for a second. And don't even get me started on Tyra. But, I guess for one night only, I'll be a CW viewer. I'm hopeful that being on this network means that SoapNet won't expose us to that cringeworthy "shoe cam". Oh God, what an embarrassment. Members rangethatrover
Amen. Its all so cut rate. When I picture JFP making her 8th or 9th mad dash to the stage for another undeserved emmy, I cringe. She reminds me of the bus driver Mrs. Crabapple on South Park with that dead bird in her hair. Screaming at the entire audience! What better than the CW to see such a sight. And the irony is not lost that the CW is the 16-24 year old network. Frons will have an erection during the entire telecast.
Members DaytimeFan
Aided by Viagra, of course. I'm happy it's at least on the CW...SoapNet would have been worse... I would have preferred PBS, at least it would have some element of 'class' to it... Tyra Banks here we come!
Members JONNYSBRO
The CW has alot more money then Soapnet. Actually we should be glad it is airing at all considering how it did not look like it was going to happen. Just expect lots of Tyra show promotions and Tyra pimping through the whole thing. Members Scotty
Hmmm....that's interesting. Here in central KY we have one of the top rated CW affiliates in the country (WBKI-34 in Louisville), which also has a very strong signal.
Members TC
We don't even have a CW here. What we do have shares a station with Fox.
Members sheilaforever
I assume this has to do with the last minute scheduling. If ABC passed on it next year I'd think they would air it in non-sweeps March or so....
Members JackPeyton
this is smart for the cw. and the time frame makes since, imho. they can air promo's for the fall lineup - and 90% of CW shows this fall are soapy. im just happy there is a show and its in la... Members Sylph
See? You're a weird guy? You love serials, but not CW's. You generally embrace things and have a positive outlook, but you're harsh when it comes to this network... Funny.
