October 24, 201015 yr Member I'm surprised that the message one takes from any Ryan Murphy show is "inclusion."

Sue is a writer's dream. And I like how there's only 3 writers on the show and the rotation is always (well, after epsiode 1.8): Ian, Ryan, Brad.
October 24, 201015 yr Member I'm more concerned about the number of parents who are whining about this because their little kids watch Glee. If that is the case they must be assuming that a show with singing and high school kids is wholesome entertainment when it is anything but. Even just last week they had Brittany popping Artie's Cherry just so he'd sing with her and Brit and Santana kissing because the girl can't sleep without a bit of action before bed and Puck "is" in the slammer. If I had kids I wouldn't want them seeing teenage girls using sex to get what they want. I feel kinda sorry for that Lea Michelle. She's trying way to hard to prove that she's not unattractive and ugly instead of letting her talent shine & she just looks desperate and pathetic. Edited October 24, 201015 yr by BadZoe

These actors are in their 20s and the stuff handled on Glee is not aimed for kids. I dont think these parents know what they are talking about and just want something to b-tch about. Id understand it more if this were a show on the Disney channel but it isnt
October 26, 201015 yr Member Exactly! If these are the same parents allowing their kids to watch Glee... then there is a HUGE flaw in their logic. Glee (as awesome as it is) is NOT a show for younger teenagers. It is a show for 18-49 year olds Edited October 26, 201015 yr by alwaysAMC
October 27, 201015 yr Member Oh, parents just get up in arms about most anything. Today it's Glee... when I was a kid, it was Three's company. I think because the characters are high school kids, then the 12-18 crowd WANTS to watch it, and parents somehow think the show is too sexy. I'll bet they let those same kids watch CSI with decapitated, decomposing heads rolling around onscreen, though. That being said... I've tried to watch this show a few times, I tuned in tonight, and I HATE it. I SHOULD like it... but I don't. The music sounds very karaoke-like, the singing is all that typical BS, everyone sings in the same style, all these white kids do runs to try and sound black. And I'm not sure, but I think I was offended by that girl with Down's Syndrome being given dialogue like "Give me my chocolate, or i'm gonna cut you". Edited October 27, 201015 yr by alphanguy74
October 27, 201015 yr Member Why was Mercedes directed to scream out Sweet Transvestite? That song needs to be sung, not used to show how loud someone can be.
November 10, 201015 yr Member Ummmm okay Ryan Murphy, WTH is the point of keeping Jessalyn Gilsig on contract when she appeared in 13/22 episodes in season one, and so far in 1/6 episodes this season? Edited November 10, 201015 yr by dmarex
November 10, 201015 yr Member Ummmm okay Ryan Murphy, WTH is the point of keeping Jessalyn Gilsig on contract when she appeared in 13/22 episodes in season one, and so far in 1/6 episodes this season? I've been wondering this too! She was hilarious in Season 1 as 'substitute school nurse'. At least we get her next week! But yeah, just hate how they dropped her storyline and Mr. Schu's personal life (how do you spell his name??) haha.
November 24, 201015 yr Member Big ratings drop, tied with that young people machine NCIS in the demo -- I wonder if people are finally getting sick of it. Unless it's just the absence of the huge superstar Gwyneth Paltrow... http://pifeedback.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/63310451/m/284101733
November 24, 201015 yr Member ^I think its bc of the Dancing with the Stars finale and people leaving early for Thanksgiving. I bet most people that missed it live watched on DVR. The show is still super hot. Last night's episode was Sue-heavy too... a fan favorite. I thought it was hilarious.
