He can't distract if the TVMSM doesn't go along with it.

They will.  They can't help themselves.

I actually don't think the restaurant kerfuffle lasted very long. It trended briefly and then was gone with the wind. If anything is taking up oxygen in the media, it's this giant Yahoo! hack.  Then again, hacking will also bring it back around to Russia as some Russians are suspected in this as well (Russians have been known to sell hacked account information on the dark web, ostensibly with much of that information being used in identity theft scams/crimes.

It's sad that we have to celebrate what should be an easy win, given that he flat out said he did it. Not even sure there there was a trial. Why didn't he just plead guilty? Of course given how some of these police officer's trials have gone even when there is a damn video a conviction isn't assured. Crazy days.

Thank God.

So, out of this crack-tacular year, two good things happened: the Cubs won the World Series, and Dylann Roof was found guilty.  As far as I am concerned, this is our Christmas miracle.

True.

A perfect example: the murder-for-hire trial that was declared a mistrial for the SECOND time.

Very much yes.

Good. But I don't want him on death row for years eating up tax dollars. I hope someone offs his ass before it gets to that point.

In general, and in most cases, I am adamantly against the death penalty.  But ICAM with this.

I'm not holding out hope for anything too massive. There is only so much Obama can do here without being labeled a fascist by the right and centrists. I know what I'd like him to do, but those aren't the same things as what is potentially feasible.

I honestly could care less what the right believes and how can anyone side with the GOP based on what's going down in North Carolina. It's a disgrace and a coup orchestrated within the boundaries of this nation.

"The biggest event in American history"?  Oh, dear.  People really don't need to get their hopes up.
