@soapfan770 Thanks for posting the final two weeks of 1988/89. It was not a very good season due to after effects of the writer's strike and changing times. So many shows felt off.
May 8-14, 1989 had Family Ties series finale, The Golden Girls season 4 finale, The Cosby Show season 5 finale, and Moonlighting series finale. Rookie breakout Roseanne had their season 1 finale one week earlier. The other rookie hits Empty Nest and Anything but love had their season finales in April. A Different World season 2 finale and Cheers season 7 finale were also one week earlier. This week's Murder, She Wrote was "Mirror, Mirror, on the Wall", part 1. This week's Knots Landing (The Heat of Passion) is notable in that it was Knots Landing's first weekly win over a new episode of Murder, She Wrote since March 7, 1985 (A Piece of the Pie).
May 15-21, 1989 had Who's the Boss season 5 finale.
