The Hernandez family stuff didn't really work for me, especially the Leo and Javi engagement. I just don't care about those two at all, and didn't find any of it emotional. And they had Javi say "What's happening here?" Really? As if it wasn't obvious when Leo got on his knee an pulled out a ring.
Of course, they were all shoved into that TINY kitchen. We got no dining room meal, but just "What a feast!" comments while that TINY kitchen looked like no cooking had been done in it.
As an aside, I admit I watched JPL during the engagement scene. Many of us have wondered about his sexuality over the years, and not that it matters at all, but I don't think he's straight. During those scenes, he had zero reaction -- not emotional, not smiling, not happy for them, not anything. It was kind of weird.
