Members TC Posted July 9, 2008 Members Share Posted July 9, 2008 What is that from, Suds? Quite touching. I get fitted for a hearing aid on Monday. This, the grey hair, the arthritis, the bi-focals, it's all happening at once. What next? I can't handle coffee like I used to, can't sit around and drink with my friends without paying for it the next morning more than they seem to. Sometimes I feel so empty and sore inside, often car sick nausea. I know that's depression. I've observed it on a professional level and it runs in my family. Maybe I'm just tired of playing host to this stream of incoming / outgoing relatives we have. No real complaints about them, though. I expected much worse. We're on our third group. Each group has been sensitive to the fact that we are both working. Each has bought groceries, cleaned up, been pretty quiet at night and even during the day when I've had to sleep; they've been quiet as mice or gone out to some local event. Members TC Posted July 9, 2008 Members Share Posted July 9, 2008 I'm verrrrry close to 40. Hey, I don't know how old you are but my arthritis started in my knees. I blamed it on hockey and basketball. As for depression, I have a therapist but he's on vacation. I should see the person he left as a sub, just that I've never met her.
