Way to go Y&R and GH.

I can't believe GH's 3.3 and the rest of the week was great too.

And I love that Y&R is doing so well. The show is really on a row right now.

It makes you wonder for these 2 especially if they could get a few things right could Y&R get back into the 5's and could GH get to the 3's and stay for awhile.

Both are doing well, but they just need to tweak some things.

OLTL is showing more characters and the ratings are starting to reflect that. It regressed a little a couple of days, but by and large, a good week. If OLTL would do little things, give Viki a storyline, get over itself and bring Dan back and hire a Joe instead of a newbie ballplayer, end these awful awful couples (Jessica and Antonio just suck) I really believe this show would just soar.

Also CONGRATS to GH, and all soaps too! GH will definitely be hitting the 3's soon with sweeps.

I'm surprised Y&R got a 4.8 for Monday's episode, but hopefully LML sees that Jill/Kay bring in the ratings.

Monday, January 15 #8557

Colleen approaches Detective Sullivan with information that would make Kevin a suspect in Carmen’s murder. Sullivan orders a warrant to look at the coffeehouse surveillance tapes. In retaliation, Kevin accuses Colleen of having a crush on Korbel. Colleen tries to backpedal around Lily and J.T. saying that Kevin’s mind is twisted. Kevin tells Sullivan that she doesn’t need to get a warrant; he’ll give her the security tape to prove that he was working that night so he couldn’t have killed Carmen. When they go to the files to check the tape Kevin panics, seeing that the day of, before, and after Carmen’s murder has been erased. Dru confides in Sharon that she is terrified of David Chow. Neil orders David to stay away from his family. At GCAC, Dru asks the hostess to remove David from the restaurant but the hostess says that David hasn’t done anything wrong. Sharon stands up to grab everyone in the restaurants’ attention, and asks them to think about how they would feel if the lowest moment in their life was caught on tape and replayed for everyone to see. At dinner, William tells Gloria that she is an inspiration to him and is so glad that he got to know the Abbott family, especially Jill. Michael interrupts them, saying he needs to speak with William immediately. Michael says that he’s going to try to find out who’s leaking Dru’s tape to Leanna Love, and William agrees they should find out how that happened because that footage may taint a possible jury pool. When William returns he continues to talk about Jill until Gloria can’t stand to hear any more, and changes the subject to Ashley. William says that she has a great opportunity in China, then says that Gloria is a wonderful woman also, for being there for him when he needed to talk about his wife’s death. He says that to thank all of the Abbott women he’s going to reopen the case of the Jabot product tampering. Jana asks Paul to tell her about the kind of people serial killers are. Paul says that they often like to return to the scene of the crime to fantasize about it and also try to involve themselves in the investigation of the murder. J.T. opens Colleen’s notebook and sees the name “Adrian” doodled in it. He later tells Colleen that he’s glad they share everything with each other.

I have a prediction to make, WIth the good week GL is having this week we are in right now, I think next Thursday we will see ATWT fall into 8th place with GL beating it, and when it happens it will be great for GL but very bad for ATWT. Come on ATWT you are so much better than this, you are the one that should be near 3.0 right now, get with the program.

Wow it's too bad DAYS couldnt hold higher in the 2's the rest of the week, they coulda had an eay 2.9 for the week. Good to see them holding in the high 2s overall though, I really hope they can pull in 2.8-3.0 for the four weeks of sweeps, or at least hold steady or above last years' ratings/viewers.
