Is SOAPnet getting Guiding Light?

Don't wanna get anyone excited but Wikipedia's entry is reporting that Guiding Light will begin airing on SOAPnet in March 2007. They usually add a new soap every spring so do you guys think this will end up happening?

Anyone can edit Wikipedia and you don't have to be registered to do. Many take a rumor and turn it into something else.

I thought this was just a rumor... that this will happen in 2008. With SoapNet attracting all this soaps, I wouldn't be surprised if eventually all the soaps start airing there and not on national stations anymore.

SOAPnet doesn't have room for another current soap and it doesn't NEED one. What they need is to bring on some classic soaps since daytime is filled with multiple airings of Dallas and 90210. It has been ages since they added another classic soap.

Yes, right now what SoapNet needs to be concentrating on is getting more classic soaps, not current ones. I'm just hoping whatever they're saving up for right now (and there has to be something) is worth the wait.

Word! They need more CLASSIC soaps. I'm with Chris B on this: Capitol (or Loving), Santa Barbara (or Sunset Beach). Hell, I'll settle for anything!

I really really really want to see Sunset Beach and/or Santa Barbara show up on SoapNet. Or if not either of those two, at least The Edge of Night.

I didn't mention the PGP soaps because they're on the PGP Soap Channel, but it would be great to see Edge or SFT!
