Ok, everyone!

December is (almost) over! So what were your oppinions on soaps in December?

I only watched DAYS... But it was amazing! Loved almost every episodes! But even the ones that were slower were very good actually!

So DAYS gets an A from me!

I, too, am only a Days watcher but it is so vastly improved that it gets an A from me too.

ATWT: F-.....Isn't it obvious why? Poorly driven repetitive storylines, same characters everyday, and bad acting. Nothing held my interest in December. And I am assuming for most fans too considering the 2.3 in the latest SOW.

B&B: B......It has been solid.

Y&R: D.....This show has lost its way again. There isnt a storyline that is holding my interest at the time. I might just give up Y&R again. A 3.9 in the latest SOW is indication of my D grade.

AMC: D-....The only thing I like is seeing JR in that bed. It is so inviting! Everything else is pfft. The murders are silly and of course I know who is behind them.

DAYS: B+

ATWT: C

AMC: A- I like the Serial Killer storyline and zarf. It seems AMC has gotten out of its recent slump.

ATWT: D+ The beginning of the month ATWT was pretty much unwatchable to me, it has gotten better the past few weeks IMO.

B&B: C Stephanie facing her abuse as a child was amazing! The rest of the month was boring to average.

DAYS: B+ I'm loving almost everything about the show right now.

GH: B- Just average nothing bad, just nothing that great.

GL: C There were a few episodes that I remember that I thought were just horrible ( I think they were both ITL, those episodes are so ethier hit or miss.) It was okay. Tom Pelphrey has been great and he will be a big loss when he is gone.

P: B I always love christmas time on Passions. This show has been enjoyable lately with no major flaws.

Y&R: B- The beginning of the month kind of started out slow, the show was so good during the ice storm.

OLTL: D- not much to say (I even forgot to mention it the first time) I like so many actors and actresses on OLTL so I keep watching, I just hope it gets better soon.

Ooohhhh! Who, who??

Anyway - here are my grades:

AMC: A - This show has done a complete 180. There is just something new, refreshing, and warm about this soap.

ATWT: D- - This show is completely boring, and I don't know why!?! I was loving this show all year and then November hits, and it is completely boring and the storylines are just stupid and not what the fans are wanting.

DAYS: C+ - You can tell this show has changed with this new writer. They have a new outlook, new aura about it, and are slowly resembling a more traditional soap opera....which I really don't want for DAYS....but I have to say the show is either very boring one day or very enjoyable the next. I'm liking a few things, and hating a few things.

GH: B - It isn't as good as it was in November, for obvious reasons, but it has maintained some of that steam and for the most part is enjoyable. Some of the mob stuff and this Spinnelli stuff is irritating, but most of the other stuff is great.

OLTL: D - This show still sucks, but at least I can watch without rolling my eyes or being disgusted during the entire thing. There are a few diamond scenes in the rough. I'm still waiting for its complete 180.

Everything else I don't watch enough to give a fair grade.

DAYS: A: The show is action pact right now. I'm loving all the storylines right now. January looks great too.

Passions: C Still rather boring and slow pace.

ATWT: C Rather bland and boring but the good acting keeps me happy.

Y&R: B I'm enjoying the show right. It would be higher if they god rid of this awful storyline of Brad's.

OLTL: F Beyond horrible.

B&B- B+

Much better IMO. I really enjoyed Stephanie's s/l.

ATWT- D

Well...it's not completely unwatchable yet.

GL- B+/B

Pretty good. GL has been consistent in 2006. December was pretty good.

Y&R- B/B-

I've only been watching on-and-off. The only storyline I don't like is Brad's. The other storylines seem to be really slow. I think things will pick up, though.

I've only watched Days, but I give it an A. It feels good to say that without reservation or second guessing.

ATWT: F This show has gone completely down the tubes, normally it would be great after Novembers Sweeps that always suck, not this year December was even worse than sweeps, and that is not an easy task considering how bad sweeps were.

Y&R: C I am enjoying the show, but still way to much Brad storyline, and Carmon's Murder needs to pick up some steam, it is being drawn out for to long

B&B: A B&B is at it's best right now, I am enjoying the show more than ever.

AMC: Have only watched 3 eppys: But I give it an A, just because it keeps me coming back even though I don't want to keep watching.

Y&R has been a mixed bag, but the past two weeks have been excellent and from spoilers things seem to be in an upswing. I'd give it a B-

ATWT has been absolutely dreadful. I just have no words to describe how bad it is and it gets worse by the minute. F I know the F is harsh, but this has been a VERY steep drop in quality and it's so extreme. They're trying to convince us that Craig and Paul are responsible for Dusty buying a gun, planning to and ultimately shooting Craig with the intent to M-U-R-D-E-R him. How can you support that?

I've also been watching OLTL for the past three weeks and think the show is improving. They seem to be writing off or backburning Higley's crap characters, which is nice. But Marty and Cole are a disaster and I hate to say it, but Kristen Alderson isn't mature enough for the stories they give her. I miss bitchy Starr, I hate this heroine Higley has turned her into.

Passions get an A for being so damned entertaining around the holidays. I'm glad Chad and Whitney finally got married even though he's cheating on her. I've always liked them as a couple, even when they thought they were brother and sister, but whether or not I continue to do so depends on how Chad handles his "secret lover" situation.

Also, there's nothing better than a desperate, jealous Ethan. Yeehaw!!

Days A - It was rockin this month!!!!!! It has definately improved since November, and was FANTASTIC December! We had Stefano, Jarlena wedding, EJ, Lumi, Christmas, Steve and Kayla, Bope, Victor/Kate/Philip stuff, Max and Mimi being held captive, and much more! I loved it all!

PSSNS C- - It wasn't that good this month, but recently it has really picked up with the Chadney wedding, Tabitha, Edna, and Norma. I have been enjoying Lucy a bit lately....liked the fallout of Fancy's rape, but I hated how there are so many rapes. Sheridan's destruction has just been horrible, and I hope she didn't hire that person to rape Fancy. This month was not so good and I have been tempted to stop watching however I watch out of loyalty....but this week has really picked up. But of course these are the holidays and Passions is always good then.

AMC B- - Show has definately improved. At first I thought I would not like Zarg or his story, but I actually love it! Serial Killer storyline is going good, we got to see more backburned characters like Stuart, Marian, Brooke, Myrtle, Palmer. JR/Babe stuff was good too, sort of. However, there are still downers like Brooke just vanishing, this Jack/Erica/Jeff stuff is not good at all, except Jack and Erica at Christmas.

OLTL D - Show was a little bit better this month but nothing special, Todd/Blair/Spencer was okay but even though I love the actress and Marty I do not like her in the role of Marty, so Marty was just really bad this month IMO. Starr and Cole I could care less about because I hate Cole. Viki and Clint were good for the tail end but they were hardly on so doesn't really do anything. Everything else was just blah.

GH C - It was sort of good this month, I enjoyed Lulu, Dillion, and Spinelli investigating Rick Webber's murder, even though I hope it's not Alan. Nikolas and Emily were good this month like most of the time, I sort of liked the Colleen and Helena stuff, so the kidnapping story is okay so far. Hated Liz , Lucky, and the whole planted drugs thing. I could care less about the rest.

ATWT D- - Nothing about this show interested me this month....at all. It was extremely boring.

Y&R B- -It was nice this month, I liked Phyliss giving birth to her baby, Carmen murder stuff was alright, but I don't really care that much. So basically it was sort of good this month.

GL B- - It was moderate this month. I have mostly been liking GL lately, so it was pretty good.

B&B B+ - I liked the Stephanie stuff! B&B was mostly good/sort of great this month!

Y&R B+ -Y'all can thank Michelle Stafford and Peter Bergman. Plus I loved having Joanna on!

PSNS B+ -Campy fun.

ATWT C- -I'm being generous

GH B- -Just okay

Days has been fantastic this month. John and Marlena discovering Stefano's empty tomb, then the reveal of EJ's identity in Stefano's hospital room in Italy... Steve's memories come back and he has a dramatic/wildly romantic reunion with Kayla... Kate discovers that Victor is hiding a disfigured Phillip inside the mansion... Max and Mimi kidnapped once they get close to the truth... Shawn breaks it off with Willow and she burns down his apartment, and he reunites with Belle... Sami sets up EJ to get caught... the fabulous Christmas episode... now Patrick kidnapping Hope at gunpoint as she goes into labor, EJ shooting John (fatally?) and EJ about to do something equally horrible to Sami. Every day has quite literally been can't miss.
