Let's think about it...

Sheridan is like the Marlena of PASSIONS. She's the central blonde heroine. Now she's starting to act very mean and evilish. And JER has already given Sheridan one of his huge Days stories (buried alive), so why not possession?

Sheridan wouldn't be the first possessed Harmonite, though. Charity, TC, and Julian have all been possessed.

Also, I will give kudos to Passions on having her question what she is becoming and doing to others. I like the fact that she isn't just doing things and not wondering why she changed so much. She is scheming and committing uncharacteristic acts and is stopping to wonder why she is acting and doing all this. I am glad Passions at least did that to make this bearable.

I just don't want her to go the route of Beth. I would love to see a posession story. I know JER did that with Charity and others on Passions but that wasn't the posession I want. I want the Marlena-like posession. I know it could never be that good again and MW is not up to DH's level but it would at least give me something interesting on Passions to watch for sure.

Nice theory. I just had to come on and say that Mean Sheridan is SAVING this show. That and the Jared/Chad story (cough) will turn this show on its EAR. I can feel it. I just LOVE Mean Sheridan! Especially since NO ONE is going to expect that Sweet/Dim/Dull/Frumpy/Boring Sheridan is the Harmony Stalker! Of course, thankfully, wardrobe has given her a snappy wardrobe and better makeup and hair. Sheridan in those TIGHT AS FREAK JEANS yesterday was WORKIN' IT!!!!!

I could actually see Sheridan turning out to be Beth with a mask or plastic surgery or something. It definitely sounds like something JER would do. Anyway, I'd much rather it be that or a possession or just anything that explains why Sheridan's acting like this practically overnight, other than, oh, she's had a hard life.

I disagree. It's more intriguing IF it's the real Sheridan. Because then she can be held responsible for her actions and schemes. SOMEONE on this show should be held accountable for something. Also, IT AIN'T BETH. Beth wouldn't mumble to herself, "Why am I doing this?" etc etc.

I agree! I do not like this one bit, because it is destroying the character of Sheridan if it is really her. I have said before that I'm all for Crane Backbone, but not for her to go totally evil and psycho on us.

If it is possession, I would also hate it. Now, I know JER pulled off Marlena's Possession WONDERFUL, but after how what he has turned into these days I would not want him to do a storyline like that, because he would just ruin it like every other story on Passions.

And, if it is an imposter Sheridan, I would really start considering my future with this show, because I can barely take all this anymore. Passions is getting stupider and stupider by the minute. JER just did a stupid thing with imposter Charity/Miguel, and years back did it with imposter Luis. It would be just another repeat.

For me it doesn't matter what they do with Sheridan so much- I always thought she was boring- but with Fancy. If Fancy just becomes Sheridan as Sheridan becomes Beth, then it's a worthless storlyine, imho.

While Passions is having Sheridan question what she is doing, they also have her walking around with hte same facial expressions and stalker behavior that Beth started with. Mind my words people-Sheridan is going the route of Beth. That is character destruction. I knew this from the moment I heard about this story. She is already acting like Beth. Don't let the fact that she is questioning her actions fool you.

If it's a mask, I am done. No more masks. It's stupid and overdone on this show. Move on.

Posession I may be interested in if done right. Bottom line is Passions could've done this if they didn't turn around and do it overnight. There is reason there for her to snap but not to go from one extreme to another. There was no buildup at all. It's should be gradual and the same goes for Fox too. It sickens me to see so much character destruction all in a desperate ploy to save the show. I appreciate they have Sheridan questioning what she is doing but that isn't enough. Have Sheridan go to confession and confess and feel remore or have her try to correct her actions but then stop herself and grow more and more evil. This is what we should've saw if they planned in advance to do this. We got two weeks of buildup and that was it. By buildup, I don't mean reason for her to be like this because I am well aware she has been through enough to warrant her changing but there has to be a transition period and both Sheridan and Fox never got that. Therefore, I don't buy any of it. MW is doing her best acting in years but it's shoddy writing and it's not enough to get me on the Passions bandwagon again.
