Whatever the case, "Passions" the soap opera's very success may hinge on THIS thread and someone important seeing it. This issue is really that important. And that's why I would love for us to all calm down so this thread isn't closed, and the honchos can see all the buzz this story will attract.

The show definitely needs to start new stories and end old ones. And hopefully, one of those new stories will be CHAD AND JARED (or whomever), because that IS the 'It' story at the moment.

Don't worry, ski, it IS a man. I just have to believe that. The dialogue suggests it. The camera shots suggest it. The way they don't show the other person in the bed. It IS a man. And if, on revelation day, we DON'T see a son of Adam in that bed with Chad? Well, we can ambush NBC and the "Passions" studio with hate mail because we KNOW, beyond a doubt's shadow, that Chad's mystery lover is a man. Sorry, NBC, we already KNOW. What I don't understand about you..........when did u go from a backstage electrician....to a storyline consultant. Why are BLACK Producers, and Writers, and Executives telling you, "an electrician", why black people don't like storylines. Are you now writing for the shows? I just don't get it.

You may recall that Alistair tried to convince the Russells that he paid off Rae to sort of recruit Simone into the gay lifestyle. I don't know if JER rewrote that story or if Big Al was blowing steam, but for a time, it seemed that Rae was a little shady.
