Some tidbits from a Sirius Q interview Walt did yesterday:

-Said that AMC is experiencing a big change (duh)

- He and the other vets are are not happy with the way they are being treated; nor does he think the new teens will grab young viewers

- Right now TPTB are throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks

-There are times he feels like going to Frons and saying stop this sh*t

-Totally insulted McTavish, saying she came up with the character of Jackson while on the toilet and between wipes

-said he HAD a good run

I just :lol::lol: at that statement..........

It's sad though when you have the actors and so many fans unhappy with the state of a show, and nobody who can fix things is even trying to......

That's an interesting thing to say, if he does leave the show I hope it was by choice; and that he wasn't pushed out by McTrash & Fronz......

I wouldn't be surprised to discover that AMC is severing ties with most of the vets in order to cancel AMC to make room for the spin-off:

"Pine Valley High"

ok, I know that sounds like a bad joke but it also sounds like ABC.

With the way AMC is going Walt is better off leaving a sinking ship. It's obvious Fron and McTavish don't care about the show at all.

I'm still thinking, "RETURN TO THE CITY." Maybe they'll bring on Bo Derek to be the owner/manager of the building on Greene St.(Morgan Fairchild's Sydney was offed in the last episode).

And I thought Eric Braeden was bad :o

This statement is very reminiscent of some remark Vincent Irizzary made at his fan dinner in August in NYC. Without coming right out saying it, we felt he saw the handwriting on the wall for Dr. David. Poor Walt!

Without vets, what is the glue to hold a soap together?

One wonders if Jackson will fall at the hands of the serial killer ahead or behind Erica's infidelity.

Don't get too happy with thinking Walt talking about Megan coming up with Jackson on the toilet between wipes is an insult...

...because Megan and Walt were on Soap Net's Emmy Pre-Show special a couple of years ago both joking on camera LIVE that that's how she came up with the character. She said so herself that she went to the bathroom and said to herself, "Jackson Montgomery!" and the rest is history. They were both laughing about it, so I doubt he meant it as an insult.

Let me rephrase.

I doubt it will be viewed as an insult by anyone in the Company, since she, herself, probably jokes about it to this day.

The rest, on the other hand, is very interesting.

Well I guess my source was right, he's a goner. I don't like jack, but props to walt for speaking out.

Well, what will be left for Jack when Erica and Jeff get together? Answer, nothing. I bet Jack goes wtih Lily off to school or something. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Walt is next to go, I've thought as much for awhile. I hate Jack, but god, things like this make me sad. :(

The writing on the wall has been there for Jack since the fetus's appearence, the fact that Walt isn't at SSW for the first time in ten years speaks volumes. Another one bites the dust, or so I think....I guess we'll know for sure.

Props to Walt for speaking out, though.
