What happened with Gabby and Carlos is unnacceptable. They need to sue. Look at all the money they spent on this pregnancy for a hospital mistake. I would be so pissed to lose a child I never had.

Previews look good. John finally returns. Loved him and they should have never have dropped his plot so early last season. Andrew will be back too. I can do without him though.

I was REALLY looking forward to Gabby/Carlos having a child and seeing that storyline played out. These cheap gimmicks are wearing thin. Is Marc Cherry really writing these episodes? DH is losing me fast. It has a good cast, but doesn't know how to utilize it to its full potential. Felicity Huffman should be leading a frontburner story!

Looks like another season of one episode's good, the next episode's bad, the next episode's good, etc.

I wasn't that thrilled by tonight's episode. It had some GREAT moments, but overall ... it just wasn't ... I dunno. Something was just missing.

Gabby and Carlos were hilarious. I can't believe Xiao-Mei gave birth to a black baby. I didn't see that coming. Wow. What an end to a story! I'm actually really looking forward to Gabby and Carlos getting back together. Nice to see John back next week.

Bree and Orson are bugging me. I hate stupid Bree. I actually kind of like Orson though. But add me to the list of those wondering just where the hell Bree's daughter is. It makes no sense she isn't included. But wow at the morgue scene! Things just get more interesting. And I love Laurie Metcalf as Caroline Bigsby. Why a show hasn't picked up Laurie full time is beyond me. I think she'd rock on a show like Boston Legal.

I kinda like Ian and Susan. A bit boring but I can at least like watching Susan again.

I didn't see any sparks between Julie and Austin (Edie's nephew). Meh. Hopefully they grow on me because it has potential.

Loved Lynette setting up Nora and Carlos. LOL. So there's still problems between Lynette and Tom. I'm glad that's not been forgotten. But what happened to Lynette's job? I know she switches jobs later down the road ... but why has that angle been dropped?

Another very good episode IMHO. I do wonder where Danielle is, it makes no sense. Joy Lauren(Danielle) is still on the show, since they still are showing her name in the credits. Andrew makes sense since he was dropped off in the middle of nowhere by Bree at the end of last season.

Also I just noticed tonight that another regular is off the show or at least off contract. Richard Burgi (Karl Mayer) is no longer listed in the credits. It's a shame, I liked Burgi as Karl. I think they should've kept him on for Edie, but maybe Edie will end up with Mike.

I'm with Mulder and leevo. Loved tonight's episode! the way Ian and Susan tried to one-up each other during the wedding toast was great! And I loved that the suspicious Laurie Metcalfe character was there to identify the body. I didn't make out what Orson said to the stiff, though. He called her Monique, right? Whatup with THAT?

Worst episode ever as far as I'm concerned.

Why is Bree rushing into marriage with a man she doesn't even trust? If she did, she wouldn't have asked him at the altar if he killed his wife. Now it seems that Orson is a serial killer since he knew the corpse. Bree has become a total idiot, imo.

Gabrielle & Carlos ought to sue the clinic. There was no excuse for a black baby, except if Xiao Mei had lied about being a virgin and was sleeping with Betty's son (which, imo, would have been a better twist).

Susan & Ian, ZZZZZZZ.

The one part that worked for me was Lynette scheming to find Nora a man and as I type that I realize how pathetic it sounds. This is the best the new writers can come up with?

    • I would put Felicia in the 'small dose' auntie category because she means well, but comes on too strongly at times.  In small doses, she would be a blast to hang out with.. but in anything larger than a small... she would be exhausting. I tend to prefer lower key people than people that are always 'on' all the time.  Those people can veer off into energy vampire status pretty quickly.
    • I didn't like the Harry story, but Nazar did have a great introduction. He was probably the highlight of last year.  Now that you mention it, I guess the truly dire stories (Nicole, Harper/Drew/Phil, Nicole) didn't start until summer.
    • thank you all for contributing to the Vault. I am slowly getting towards watching the 1998 episodes

    • I pray⏤and I know it's a big prayer⏤that Noel Maxam is somehow able to figure things out budget-wise so we can stop re-dressing existing sets as "new" sets. I know in apartment buildings apartments can generally look the same, but I'm over it on this soap. The last time he was executive producer was in 2011 when the original Horton Town Square was introduced, and we had some other sets get introduced around this time (likely pre-commissioned prior to his election), but I'm trying to have some hope he can pull this off. Let's [finally] see it.
    • Definitely not the best of RC's breakdowns. I don't know what it says that I could pick up his trademarks yesterday 30 minutes in without even knowing that he did one. There was something more...quirky/boardstroked...about Dani. Though I love the Dani/Nicole scenes, she was just a little too hip?...which made me think back to the episode when she broke into Bill/Hayley's house. Then watching the episode later on, I saw Hayley was being used as a punchline to the more interesting and relevant Bill/Ted scenes (see you all were just talking about how you hoped they got scenes...one thing this show is great at...what people want on this board...they already have the foresight for it. The reason I feel the DNA test will get mentioned @Cheap21 in more detail). And then poor Anita reduced for the most part propping up an album.    Needless to say, not my favorite RC episode. And since we are in aftermath week, I just smh. And barely worth a rewatch. BUT...was there good for me?    Yes. Thankfully, we still got good aftermath beats regardless of the breakdown.   Like I said, I really like the Dani/Nicole scenes. But I love their dynamic. And I was looking forward to the shoe being on the other foot once the SilkPress storyline hit climax. Quirks aside, it did not disappoint. Dani came in, and she came in fierce for her sister. I loved her attacking Eva. And then her being surprisingly introspective about Nicole due to her own experience. No wonder Nicole reacted to her being self-aware. So did I.    Meanwhile Bill and Ted finally met up. I'm kinda sad that we did not get that sooner given the scenes that played out sidepiece in the background aside. It might have been interesting to see more of their status as non-Duprees coming into the family explored.    And of course I can't leave without mentioning Eva vs SilkPress Sheila which was the highlight. Both of them were giving. And SilkPress was just so cold with it. I did love that Eva finally stopped letting her gaslight her. Sad to see the duo break up. But I did love that she went to Ted. So...the next turn begins.   And speaking of turns...uh oh at Kat and Tomas. I'm sure he won't be staying away from her. So most definitely, Kat vs Eva ain't over. It will be interesting to see how it goes now that most people know that Kat was right all along.
    • Nah I enjoyed it much more last year because of the Harry plot that ended during that time. Nazar being introduced and them. But this time it is so lame and nothing I like forward to anymore and I’m one of them long time fans. Of course I would be upset if they would cancel it but maybe take a year off or two and return refreshed
    • came across this quote that provides some context: “It’s hard to escape the cultural reach of the Catholic Church when you live in the Western world. It is, for better or worse, one of the load-bearing walls of our civilization. Its influence wafts from the church into the streets of civic life, the courts, the schools, the arts.”
    • Yesterday's show:   Can they give Ambyr Michelle the Emmy for supporting actress already?   Truly enjoyed the episode from Leslie and Eva, Eva and Ted, Nicole and Dani to Anita and Nicole.
