At a charity even with co-star Greg Rikaart, Adrianne Leon unfortunately sprained her ankle and also tore her achilles tendon. The injury will be written on to the show, and Colleen will be with crutches.

TPTB called Christel Khalil to come back to the show two days after they fired Devetta Sherwood to take part in a major storyline. CK proclaims she is matured, and fans hope that she will drop the valley girl attitude with her return.

VR responded with a no comment to CK return.

"It's the right time, the right place now. I left because I couldn't handle all the stress. I had to go. But now that I've had time to grow up a little bit, mature, take some time off and relax, I'm ready to come back."

When asked about the sudden recast, Victoria Rowell (Dru) said, "No comment."

I hope Y&R isn't trying to force VR out by bringing back CK. I KNOW that is RADICAL thinking, just saying though.

Victoria Rowell is one of Latham's biggest characters, I don't think she's going anywhere. But I can understand how she feels with her "no comment." From what I've gathered, Davetta was VERY close to the actors she worked with and this was so sudden, I can't imagine how they feel right now. I bet it's going to be like ice when Christel arrives on set.

BTW, I love how instead of asking Latham, they asked Rowell about Davetta's exit. I guess they know, like most of us, that Davetta is the prefect fit as Dru's daughter. The Winters as a family unit won't be nearly as interesting now.

As for Leon, thats really sad to hear and I hope she gets better! I really, really love what she's done with Colleen so I can't wait for whatever they give her to do.

Why do I get the very strong feeling that VR can't stand CK? No comment? That speaks volumes. She will be a professional, as always, but you could cut the tension between them with a knife as big as the Gateway Arch.

And.....she had time to grow up. That's what happens when you quit a show, think you ready for primetime, find out you're not, and need a job. I hope she learned her lesson.

And there is a nice paragraph from Davetta, saying that this is a business and she knows about rejection. She does not know how profitic she was, does she? I feel for her. She took that role, and made it her own, and to get dumped like this?

LML is now starting to make some mistakes. I just hope someone reigns her in before this gets out of hand, IMHO.

Wouldn't it be funny is VR walked? I think that would be hilarious, because without VR's Dru, there is NO WINTERS and no need for CK's Lily. Davetta's Lily stood on her own, but CK's Lily needs a Daniel or a family for propping because she is personality-less. Gag me with a spoon! As if!

Christel is singing a whole other tune now: when she opted to leave, she was saying how she needed to branch out and take time off to see what other things are out there for her. She wanted to do some primetime/movies, and since she was young she wanted to do it now.

I'm already tired of CK. I've never seen her work, but I am a fan of Davetta and her natural acting style. Khalil sounds like a wannabe diva and LMAO @ VR's "no comment."

If they destroy Daily in light of Devon and Lily, I think Y&R will come up against a lot of opposition. The fact that they are adopted sister and brother just makes it a horrible relationship from the beginning.

I think the fact that she didn't have anything to say about CK last year when she departed says a lot. Plus the fact that CK had nice words to say about everyone but VR, who she never mentioned.

Davetta Sherwood just had an article in last week's SOD. She not only had the support of her on-screen family, but of other cast members like Jerry Douglas, Michelle Stafford, and even Eric Braeden who told her that one of the things he liked about her acting was that what she brought to the character of Lily was real and advised her to never lose that organic style. That's exactly what I liked about DS... she was REAL, natural. Unlike that fake, Valley Girl, whiny CK.
