I wonder what they're going to do though, I don't think this unrecast is going to go over well. I know no matter how much Khalil may have improved, I'm 100% over her.

You know if VR doesn't like someone something must be up with that person. VR seems like such a people person and everyone on the cast seems to like her. CK must be some kind of mini-diva.

I wonder what Michael Grazaidei must think about this. He's the one who has to make out with her so it's kinda like cheating, but he did know Christel first.

I think it could be that she's just as annoying off screen as she is on. I know thats a type of person I really can't stand to be around.

I think the fact that she didn't have anything to say about CK last year when she departed says a lot. Plus the fact that CK had nice words to say about everyone but VR, who she never mentioned.

In that case, I'd have to add Mary (that sauerkraut and spare ribs get me everytime!), Esther (it's all about the French maid uniform), Gina (Italian food is the way to a men's heart) ...

When an athlete tears his' or her's achilles tendon it is just tough. When an actress tears her achilles tendon it is just brutal. Especially if it is a young actress. A young actress expected to move around and do everything else they are expected to do for certain scenes they must do. Injuries like these can happen but they are not expected to happen given their(actors) kind of occupation. Looking at this headline I thought Lyndsy Fonseca had wanted her old job back and AL was fired (Something that might happen who knows with Latham in charge). I wonder how long AL shall be on those crutches and then how long shall she be in rehab for her latest injury? Such a pretty girl. My best wishes go to her for a speedy recovery!

I have nothing against Davetta Sherwood, all the best to her, but her role was a job not an entitlement. Something like this happens all the time in soaps. Somebody(DS) may have had an disagreement with someone(LML) over something. Who do you think was going to stay? The show may have gotten a chance to call Christal and found out she was available. They asked if she could come back and she agreed to. What was so wrong with something like this? This has happened with other actors on other soaps over the years. Why is CK being singled out for this? An actor or actress can't return to do soaps when they can't find luck elsewhere?

Who knows what the situation is between VR and CK but hopefully they shall be able to work together. They should. Christal Khalil started out as Lily, as Dru's daughter. Hopefully ,however Ms. Rowell felt about's DS's firing, she shall not take it out on CK.

I'm not upset with Christel Khalil, but I still don't feel she is the right fit for Lily Winters. IMO, Davetta was.

In fairness, Khalil is a decent actress and a lot better than some of the people in daytime in her age range. I just feel the role has been miscasted again by bringing her back and not keeping Davetta.

Honestly, I think its because everyone's b.s detector is going off. She claims that she is back now because she is able to deal with the stress, when previously, it was all about her apparently non existant movie career. I also think everyone is reading that her brattiness on the show translates in real life, according to things we've read, and comments by none other than Victoria Rowell. I think Everyone is pretty much reading the clues and guessing that Davetta was chucked not only because LML and co want to do a sick pairing with Devon, but because Khalil's career isn't going the way she wanted and now she wants to come back, to poor Davetta's detriment.
