anyone watching? The topic is the school shooting yesterday and Rosie starting talking about the gun and how people shouldnt be allowed to have them. Elizabeth opposed this and said that people have a right to firearms. She kept cutting Rosie off the entire time and Rosie looks pissed. She had to tell Elizabeth to stop yelling. Elizabeth responded by saying she doesnt think she's yelling. She just talks fast and thats how people in her family talk. There's alot of tension on the set. Im waiting for Rosie to just go off on her Hopefully someone can get the whole thing on YouTube. I hit hte record button to late, but I'll try to put up the bit I have

I saw it and just  at Elizabeth, she can be so annoying......I thought Rosie handled it well, and didn't give in to the arguement Elizabeth was gearing up for......

The audience was lucky today, they each got an Apple Nano :o and Tyler Florence's  cookbook ..........

you could tell that Rosie was not happy. I wanted them to fight. Rosie held back too much. Ive been waiting since she came on for her and Elizabeth to go at it and this was the closest. Just wait till they hit more sensitive subjects

I never agree with Elisabeth but I agreed with her today. Rosie was being a real [!@#$%^&*]. At least Elisabeth could be two sided to the whole issue. Rosie refused to listen to anything Elisabeth said.

Guns don't kill people. People kill people.

We have a gun registry here in Canada and it has not stopped crime. Here in Edmonton we have more murders then we've ever had.

I agreed with Elisabeth, but she could have at least let Rosie get her point across before going on another tirade. The girl needs to calm herself and learn how to argue respectfully. I wanted Rosie to go off on her and I didn't even agree with the lady! And I thought she was getting ready to take Elisabeth on further with this issue because they were suppose to continue the conversation into the next segment, but it was kinda dropped. Me thinks Big Momma Barbara stepped in during commercial and told them to cool it.

I actually agree w/ Elisabeth, but I know that she obviously can't support her arguments for crap.

I think it's really stupid to own a gun, but I'm a big supporter of the Constitution (unlike certain government officials) and since the 2nd Amendment guarantees the right to bear arms, I'm not necessarily anti-guns.

I just think that they can't have some random Joe-Schmo go into a gun store and pick one up. Obviously, the restrictions aren't working if some deranged psychos can buy enough ammo to kill a city.

Exactly, and it's not better here in Canada b/c psychos can get guns as well. The guy who did the shooting weeks ago had been checked for major behavior problems and severe depression but he had all kinds of guns. The kids that do shootings in schools who get their hands on them I still don't get.

But anyway, as far as Rosie goes she does bring some life to The View, it was much needed and even if one doesn't agree with all her opinions and views, I like how she expresses them.

Elizabeth is so annoying. She talks over people constantly. At least Rosie stopped to let Barbara and Joy speak. WTF is she talking about with segregation? Is she on something? And then the whole "what if the teacher had a gun" thing was ludicrous. I agree with Rosie, though her position is a little extreme, but there needs to be control. People cannot be given these opportunities.

    • This can be difficult for a soap to depict. So far she's only shown an interest in women. Will a man come into her life? If she commits to a male, there will be  backlash, but if it's women only, them where is the bi/queer aspect? Personally, I would have liked a single gay male on the show dealing with hook ups/relationships etc. Smitty/Martin married with kids is limiting in those terms.
    • Of course, how could I have forgotten those thrilling episodes depicting the fire? Also we had the GCAC rooftop set that came out every Summer. Moving on to Friday's episode. Victor is propped in his chair, answers his cell and tells the caller 'Let him in'. Seconds later Kyle enters. So does Victor have security on the front porch? It would have been better had Victor taken the call, and then said to himself 'Well Kyle, let's see what you have to say'and fade out. Next scene Kyle enters, indicating that the first call was from the Ranch entrance and time had passed . Nit picky but I get frustrated when they do stuff like that.

    • I don't think Chelsea has a true label just yet. She's just finding out she has an interest in women. I think the awkwardness is aligned with the character as we've seen. This is the fool who keeps filming her family when embarrassing things happen and live streaming it. I actually think it's refreshing she isn't just jumping into a relationship  and that they're playing the beats of her trying to figure out who she is.
    • Wow, do I agree with you. Chelsea is coming off as ridiculous. All she does is look for a woman to date while not caring about her business at all. That she's bi is great, but they're not writing her like she's bi. She seems to be lesbian. Yeah, I know -- "no labels." I just don't find the writing for her story to be anything other than awkward.   -- I hope we get some diagnosis finality with Bill's trip to the hospital. I don't want to see these trips to the ER every other day. -- Naomi is going to blame herself for Bill's health problems? GMAB. -- Ashley doesn't read as a real nurse in the slightest. -- Another day, another rinse and repeat conversation with Derek and Ashley. YAWN. -- Kat is making mistakes, but she's fun to watch and listen to, regardless. -- I still think the Joey/Vanessa/Doug gambling story sucks. I know Doug is deeply in debt, but I don't like him acting this meek and submissive.  -- I'm not sure what Joey's plan was from the beginning, or why he had to seduce Vanessa at all to get his way. I'm not sure what Vanessa ever saw in Joey -- why doesn't he give her the ick? -- I'm fine with a story where Doug and Vanessa take out Joey.  -- The fades to commercials were pretty bad today.
    •   Victoria's house (that she long ago lived in with Billy) burned down (I think Aunt Jordan set it ablaze?). Victoria briefly moved into the ranch after the fire, with Claire, Johnny and Katie, I think? Mariah and Tessa and baby Aria had been living in the tack house but they bought a house we've never seen and moved there. Victoria, Claire, and Cole then moved into the tack house as soon as Teriah left. I guess Victoria's children Johnny and Katie would live with Victoria at the tack house eventually? But Johnny and Katie went to boarding school during the school year. Not sure if we'll see Johnny and Katie for the summer vacation or where they would live.
    • Victoria’s previous house burned down.    And I know why characters frequent Crimson Lights 3 times a day for brownies, muffins and empty mugs:   THERE’S PCP IN EVERYTHING.
    • Today was a good episode, and the week for that matter. I think they've also done a better job with background music. The scenes in todays episode weren't as silent as they usually are in the background and it was noticeable. I think the show has found its groove well and I'm still invested.
