Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Just a few seconds ago, I saw a clip from Nene on Twitter..... she's outta there! She won't be a part of Season 13.

Saturday Night Live: Discussion Thread
Excited for the new season and so glad they're not doing "At Home " editions. When I first saw the photo of Lauren Holt, I thought she could be Aidy Bryant's younger sister. I hope we get more of Bowen Yang's SoulCycle instructor this season... 😂

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Yeah, she's feeding into the hype. But just like a soap opera headwriter can tout his or her new family as being a hit with viewers, that doesn't mean said viewers are watching to see them. It reminds me of when people were all excited about Brandi joining Beverly Hills in season 2 (and an official castmate in season 3), as she's this blunt "truth teller" to combat the stuffy socialites... until she became erratic, volatile, and messy.

Highlight of the night. She felt zero intimidation by him and said everything she needed to say. Admittedly, I mostly watched to hear the questions, and would speed past the majority of his answers. No use wasting my time on his B.S.

Oh wow, she's really smelling herself over there. Yes, you had a good season, but you're still easily expendable. LuAnn has put in 12 years; Sonja 10. Gimme a break. Yeah, asking for a bump up from 60K is understandable, but you're no veteran.

On one hand, I'm super glad she's returning. She takes no [!@#$%^&*], keeps it real, tells it like it is, and sees you coming a mile away. But on the other hand, she'll have a target on her back. Her and Dorit will have to stick together to fend off the 4 witches.

Yeah, that bugged me. Also, I think some beef originally transpired between Teresa and Jacqueline because Jaq was in talks to be the spokesperson for some brand and then Teresa swooped in and got it instead. [Let's be real though. Tre has always been "the face" of NJ, since day one with her table flipping].

What Are You Watching/Binging/Streaming Now?
In recent weeks, I've binge-watched: - Strangers Things (all 3 seasons) - Mrs. America - Unbelievable Loved Stranger Things & Mrs. America. Unbelievable was good, but I wouldn't give it the award for Best Limited Series (I'd probably go with Little Fires Everywhere or Mrs. America... although I haven't seen Watchmen yet)

I actually would *LOVE* for Heather Locklear to join, but also hesitant for her sake and her health. But I absolutely adore Heather and would love to see her let loose, relaxed, and see her in a fun 'n friendly environment... until she has to deal with The Coven. Sheesh. If only it were 5-7 years ago when the show wasn't so ugly and toxic. The best scenario would be seeing Heather join, back in full force and healthy, and using it as a one-season wonder to boost her career back up, a la Garcelle. Them Melrose/Models Inc gals can show 'em how it's done

Agreed. As hubby said as she spoke, "She's a true Trumper..." But like you said, I see no problem with her celebrating cinco de mayo while quarantined at home with her daughter, nor any other happy quarantined moments. Leah was acting like everyone should stay somber and morbid 24/7.

It really was a golden opportunity missed. And it just shows how they protect some and expose others (i.e. Denise on RHOBH, for starters). Tinsley had no trepidation and gave zero effs because this is her last hurrah and I loved it. And I agree, it felt complete. It's too bad she can't stay, especially to help continue the link of Leah to the OG's. Side note: Yes, the warehouse set is a hodge podge of ugly.

For real. That was a juicy nugget of info conveniently left off from the previous season. Afraid for her safety? Talk about a red flag. No wonder they (Bravo) were ready to part ways with Dorinda... a whole season later. That was an enjoyable Part 1 so far. Sonja looks amazing. LuAnn looks amazing. Ramona looks amazing. Leah's outfit was ugly as hell. Tinsley looked like a black swan princess. There was a little *too* much Leah love, but I do think she's a good addition to the show and should definitely return next season. That's pretty much a given. Otherwise, it's literally back to where they were before, with Ramona/Luann/Sonja carrying the torch as they did with the Season 5 overhaul. I'm hopeful Jill will return. And with Heather appearing on WWHL again, I would actually love if she returned too. I think that'd be an interesting dynamic, as I'm sure they'd play up a Jill/Heather rivalry since Jill once upon a time said Heather was Jill's Jewish replacement. Dorinda is a classic drunk. Deflect, deflect, deflect, and her number one target was Ramona. Everyone else is to blame, everyone else drinks just like her, other people have done way worse. I know she's a bleeding liberal, but she sure sounds like the current occupant of the White House.

I think she's referring to Brandi as the loser (the smelly trash) and Denise bowing out before she smells too

What the... No. Yeah, she's a pretty woman keeping herself looking great at age 50, but the whole presentation is a big fail. 😂 😂😂😂 I wouldn't want Kris on RHOBH nor do I think she'd join. Give us Faye in place of Rinna. We're never gonna be rid of Kyle until the show ends.

RHOBH = Survivor is a perfect assessment. I have never watched one season of Survivor nor do I ever plan to. No wonder BH is such a disappointment compared to more organic drama from the women of NYC, Potomac, and sometimes ATL and NJ. That was a fun finale of RHONY with Sonja's gay bingo party. Looked like a blast! And YAAAASSS to a new LuAnn song! Downloaded! Hubby and I giggled through watching her music video for it. OMG, LuAnn is the gift that keeps on giving. Speaking of gifts that keep on giving, I really liked Leah's remarks about Sonja and who she is as a person, businesswoman, friend, etc. She summed it up perfectly, and it's why Sonja should NEVER be axed from this series. The 5 at the end having their season finale wrap-up was sweet... until Dorinda's claws came out and she broke the 4th wall with her "breach of contract" tirade... ... agreed. What a sour note to leave on. Side note: Ramona's "Go to church" comment looks hilarious. I look forward to seeing how this in-person socially-distanced reunion pans out.

The threshold of toxicity has lowered considerably in recent years when it comes to reunions. RHONY Season 4 Reunion is a breath of fresh air compared to last night.

Yeah, I'll definitely check OC out, and the whole breaking-the-fourth-wall with COVID etc. does intrigue me. Just not sure this cast is very strong. It's a good thing it'll be a shorter season. But who knows? Maybe I'll be eating my words and love the change.

Boy was THAT a stretch! LOL Aside from some of the cute, bubbly moments, this episode was toxic and ugly. Rinna's quest for fame and notoriety will kill all her friendships in her path towards universal acceptance, which will never happen. She was feeling herself after her good first season (Season 5) and has been desperately trying to cling on to that feeling ever since. Like a drug addict. Love Garcelle coming for low-budget Dynasty wannabe Kyle, with Kyle stammering to come up with a decent retort. Pretty Mess's faux outrage that Denise was trying to target her, Sutton, and Teddi as the bad people after the incident with the kids hearing about blowjobs was outrageous and made no sense. That was exhausting. I'm glad we have Potomac and NYC to give us life and light. 100%. She's an ugly monster at this point.

Meh... Too many "B" characters. It's one thing when you had Nene or Bethenny or even LVP leave, but the remaining cast still had heavy-hitters. OC with Vicki and Tamra gone is like taking both Teresa and Melissa off NJ... (OMG, did I just give Melissa Gorga a compliment? Crazy times)

NYC: [Side note, I rewatched the infamous "Jovani!" episode last night, so I hope that doesn't cloud my memory of current-day NYC...] I thought last night's episode was fun. Gosh, the view from Ramona's new place is amazing. I loved how the OG's dressed for uptown but the event is downtown in every way. Loved seeing Sonja getting frisky with all the younger black men. I wonder if she got lucky that night? Ramona's "I don't know her" to Elyse was hilarious. Elyse has had some good moments, bad moments, or just non-factor moments, but she looked pretty desperate to make a scene (i.e. snatch her apple) and have an altercation with Ramona. I think Ramona actually handled it pretty well for Ramona being Ramona, and she called and apologized to Leah the next day for leaving. Last night's Dorinda (aside from the minor tiff about cell phones at the table) was the Dorinda I knew and loved... funny, jovial, wise-cracking but not mean, life of the party. That's the Dorinda I'll miss. Re: "The Bitch is Back!" I would actually love to have Jill back. It's too bad so much footage of her was taken out when she was around in a Friend-Of capacity these past couple years. And if she becomes an entitled monster behind the scenes again, cut her loose again. Otherwise, a return of Ramona vs. Jill would be hilarious. They've hung out together numerous times and even vacationed together since, so I don't think their eventual fighting would be dark and ugly like before.

Lipsa is just a huge turd, through and through. I used to always find the silver lining in her mindgame f#ckery, usually because of her soap past that I am endeared to, but she's past the point of no return. #CancelRinna I am here for anyone calling out Kyle. Pink called; she wants her hair color back. Argh at Denise having a slip-up and not remembering her own comment about having said even worse things about Suzanne Somers' less popular replacement on Three's Company, but overall, she kicks ass. This looks toxic and not in a fun way.

Reports are now saying Dorinda was fired, and that her reunion was a mess and she didn't take accountability for any of her behavior. But they also said it was kind of a mutual parting of ways, so it sounds similar to a Vicki Gulvanson situation.
