  1. LOL no she didn't. Re-watch it. Just because you don't like an actor, that shouldn't cloud your comprehension.
  2. LOL, that's not what happened. Not a Laura fan, I see lol Listening to this one now. How sad that uber flamboyant John Conboy chastised Nancy St. Alban for snacking on goldfish crackers after having a baby, yelling that he's trying to get her back into a size 4. Laura Wright's facial reaction and words regarding Frank Grillo (ex-Hart) said it all. I always got the feeling he wasn't the nicest person to work with.
  3. Agreed. The villain edit isn't working because he still comes off as fun and quirky, not mean or calculated.
  4. NYC last week was kind of odd. The whole thing with Tinsley exiting the group felt incomplete. I'm glad she got a nice wrap-up at the end, but the way things were left with the group felt awkward and unfinished. (Side note, on WWHL, Tinsley mentioned that since she left, only LuAnn and Ramona have reached out to her... and Leah too of course. No mention of Sonja or Dorinda) My take: I think the cast knew Tinsley was leaving but Tins wasn't being open and upfront about it. Heck, it was Leah who broke the news of Tinsley being back together with Scott and getting engaged. Tinsley looked ashamed to admit it. That interaction at the table felt like we were all missing out on something behind the scenes. And honestly, after the way Bethenny left them all high and dry right before filming for the new season began, I can see why they'd feel equally slighted at Tinsley's lack of honesty and communication. Who knows... maybe THAT'S why Dorinda's been such a c*nt to her all season long.
  5. For real! lol I guess this hiatus will finally give me a chance to catch up on DAYS, of which I have like 25 episodes to catch up on. Well shucks Andy Cohen, I guess the Housewives really did replace the soaps.
  6. I got this random email notification on my YouTube channel. Some GL on GL love from Frank Beaty to Tom Pelphrey.
  7. That's a bummer. My first instinct is COVID stretching, but with Beverly Hills we already know this season has been tweaked, nipped, tucked, and sliced... just like the ladies themselves, so who knows...
  8. I was wondering when we would hear from her and she did not disappoint!
  9. Oh yes darling, a Brooke/Carter/Steffy love triangle would be smoking... but, with B&B and other soaps, it's all about the penis. You have Steffie or Hope being fought over by Carter vs. Liam, and you know one of them just doesn't *measure up* and it's never spoken about but you know it's the reason. Same reason why we have president Limp Noodle who obsesses over the previous president. Yup...
  10. Now *that's* the Drunk Dorinda I know and love. The one that's jovial and tries to have a conversation but it all comes out as shlurs and unreconishible garbash. Like when she gave LuAnn and Tom a toast on the boat and no one could comprehend it. LOL Sonja is literally in her own world when she's drunk and others around her are drunk, too. I'm convinced she's having back 'n forth conversations with herself the entire time. Re: BH. Lisa Rinna is very clever, calculating and manipulative at feeding people information and casually coaxing them to speak up about it, thereby keeping her hands clean but still stirring up a mess and getting the dirt out there for all to hash. Hmm.. isn't that what she used to accuse LVP of doing? At this point, Rinna could teach a MasterClass on How To Throw the Brick And Hide The Hand.
  11. I love Bianca, but damn why is he effing up his face now? Those lips... yikes.
  12. My exact thoughts as I was watching last night. Garcelle calling out Kyle's insincerity in getting to know someone reminded me of witchy-poo Carlton saying the same thing in season 4. Maybe that goofy lady wasn't just looking for tits on an ant afterall... Rinna sulked away like a coward, but she was wise to see the mess coming long before the others did. I would *hope* she had some respect for her longtime friendship with Denise. I loved that Denise called Teddi out. As my mother-in-law says, "you're not pregnant in the face." I'd have smacked the hell out of her. And yes, I got Aaron's point. I think his delivery could've been more concise and brief because he did leave Kyle and Teddi speechless for a moment. It was beautiful. But then it continued and the pile-on began.
  13. Haha... +1 on that. Her efforts (and results!) are extraordinary. If only we had more multi-millionaires like her.
  14. Ditto. She's been one of my all-time favorites forever... +1 on the B.S. against Shangela, who is probably my overall favorite. Have y'all seen We're Here on HBO with Shangela, Bob the Drag Queen, and Eureka? Finale - *So* glad Jaida won. It felt right. I'm not even going to critique the finale performances because Jaida was the one to beat all season long. Well done.
  15. Agreed, LOL. I'd never want her back either. Her craziness could at least be contained to some degree. I desperately wanted Leah to just go and stay gone. P.S. Newport, Rhode Island looks lovely.
  16. Oh yes they did indeed hit No. 5 for a few weeks in the summer of '98 ATWT & AMC were in the 3's, while GL held onto their low 4's with the Reva Clone
  17. Y'all know The Real Housewives of New York is my jam, but dang, last night I finally felt fatigued from the "groundhog day" effect of yet another drunken calamity. First of all, Leah was WAY too much. It's no wonder her mother wasn't speaking to her once she learned Leah was drinking again. She legit becomes another person and it's dark, reckless, and dangerous. She could give a possessed Dr. Marlena Evans a run for her money! It was not at all entertaining, and I'm just glad that other people (notably, Dorinda & Tinsley, with LuAnn observing) were able to have a civilized and worthwhile conversation while the ape was running loose in the zoo. The back 'n forth of inviting and dis-inviting Leah's sister was a little messy, but Leah's reactions were just obnoxious. If Ramona was "black out" drunk, it certainly didn't seem that way as she tried to diffuse Leah. Sonja, though I love a sloppy Sonja, became a +1 to all the craziness Leah was serving, so it all became irritating. Meanwhile, look who finally has a personality! Quiet lil Elyse finally had something to say and gave us cute mimics of some of the other wives. And once again, here goes Leah off the deep end when Elyse makes her comments. Christ, I think I'd take back Kelly Bensimon at this point. Leah girl, alcohol is not your friend.
  18. GL actually became No. 7 in 1997, overtaking OLTL. Looking at the numbers from the beginning of the year to the end, GL was the only soap to make gains and keep them. Granted, a 4.0 average vs. 3.7 ('96) isn't a HUGE victory, but everyone else was dropping. Yes, you had DAYS' tremendous highs (6.9 during Kristen's downfall in June; if Y&R hadn't had a healthy 7.2 that week it would've hit No. 1 that week), but they came crashing down at the end of the year. ATWT had a great showing in early '97, hitting No. 4, but fell back to the middle of the pack. GL's low of 3.3 in September 1996, with Another World overtaking the No. 8 spot for multiple weeks, is what caused a raucous behind the scenes to get the numbers up or else face cancellation in favor of another Bell soap. The Reva vs. Annie trial brought GL up to a 4.6 in June, and the show had continuous upticks into the 4's and stayed there until the beginning of the clone story in March of '98 blew the wind out of their sails.
  19. Agree 100% That a was fu-king weird ass episode last night. That whole dinner was a buildup to try and tear down Denise (all the talk about her filmed three-way on Wild Things and Rinna & Dorit's faux concern about how uncomfortable it must've been to film it). I gotta say, Denise fu-cking Richards took it all in stride. In fact, she barely raised her voice the entire time. Well done Denise! But yes, the way they're acting like Denise is a prude for wanting to prevent her children (and children's friends! Just think the potential backlash from those parents!) from being exposed to adult talk is ridiculous. Their comments and talking heads were tacky and stupid. Yes. Trash. I too am ready for Garcelle to interact more and to call a spade a spade and for Denise to give no effs and show 'em how it's done. I love our resident "ragamuffin."
  20. That joke was the highlight of the whole reunion.
  21. Holding out for Kamala or Elizabeth, but of course we'll get something nobody was clamoring for...
  22. Whoo hoo! Love checking in with the Conner family Maybe they'll finally touch upon Jerry and/or Andy next season? And something I know we'll never see, but it'd be nice, if they were to make note of the anniversary of Roseanne's passing, giving an opportunity to bring back peeps like Anne-Marie, Nancy (Sandra Bernhard!), and Crystal... to which, we can get clarification on the status of Crystal & Ed during these last 20 years... Wishful thinking, I know. Glad there's a Season Three
  23. +1 on everyone, re: LVP and her continued presence. When Nene left ATL, there weren't regular flashbacks; when Bethenny left NYC twice, no flashbacks. With LVP, it's been a weekly occurrence to count on at least one pivotal flashback to yesteryear. Loved Garcelle and Denise cackling about Kyle, who is getting dragged left and right by friends and foes. Meanwhile, you just KNOW that messy ho Lisa Rinna is going to tell Kyle all about that car ride...
  24. Those Reilly-era spin-off ideas never made sense to me, long term. Be it AREMID (never heard of an official title) or SALEM HIGH (early 00's), neither have legs to stand on. If they were to stay in Aremid, the mysterious small-town atmosphere would've gone stale quickly, and soon enough they'd be talking about Aremid's international airport. +1 on the Mark Valley love. As I said recently in another thread, with DAYS' love for recycling actors, he could be brought back as a new character for Hope. Kristian Alfonso is in desperate need of a strong male lead and she and Valley had great chemistry together.
