I'm so glad I asked about Nikki in the March 1980 promo! I had seen Rose DeVille in Nina's original run, but didn't realize she had prior history with Nikki or with Chris Brooks. Fascinating. Thanks to everyone who replied to my questions. And I thought Rose looked familiar but I wasn't sure why I recognized the actress because I hadn't seen Rose since the 1980s. So glad to learn from reading that she was played by Darlene Conley. So *that* is why Rose looks familiar in that old promo -- it's from me watching redheaded Darlene in B&B classics during 2020 pandemic repeats. I didn't make the connection because Rose was a brunette. LOL I am enjoying reading this snarky faux storyline of what happened after Nikki's encounter with Rose, Walter, and Vince. Hilarious.

Names of more of the guest stars that hadn't previously been released. Bearded CM at the outset was an actual character. That's really the only acting CM did as Drew. Once he shaved, he shaved all characterization, and became the spokesmodel/coach. You meant Greenland and yeah he did nothing!

omg yes. They should have cast Mathison as the Deception spokesmodel. Or the host of the Port Charles Home and Hearth shopping channel. I could take him in small doses a few times a year like that. But not as Drew Cain. I know they wanted to cast a love interest for Carly, but he just doesn't do it.

A great deal of the problem is that Cameron Mathison's portrayal of whatever character is superficial and clichéd. Mathison was a saccharine daytime talkshow host for a few years and now that seeps into his portrayal of Drew Cain who should be nothing like that. He's not acting. He's talking to Carly as if he were a talkshow host who thinks he's a life coach.

I knew the bartender character was named N'Neka - named N'Neka after the GH producer N'Neka Garland. The character was never given a last name. This was discussed when the producer passed away in early 2023.
