Christel Khalil is on maternity leave. Her baby is/was due in December, but if she has given birth, it has not yet been announced. In June 2023, CK announced her pregnancy. Also, meanwhile, in summer 2023 Michael was working as Phyllis' attorney. But suddenly Christian LeBlanc got sick so they wrote it into the show that Michael suddenly had to go to Singapore to rescue Gloria which seemed odd, until CLB announced months later that he was being treated for cancer. So what the show did was write in Heather as Phyllis' emergency replacement attorney. The character Heather was already written as living in Portugal and visiting Genoa City occasionally. So when CLB got sick and CK announced her pregnancy, the show gradually brought Heather onto the canvas with more visits to Genoa City. And then about a month or two ago, Heather decided to leave Portugal and move back to Genoa City, which was clearly timed to be in place before CK's leave. They wrote CK's leave as Lily helping her daughter Matttie. Mattie attends an out-of-state university, and there was a wildfire on campus and one of Mattie's teachers died, and Mattie is traumatized (all of which was told via offscreen phonecalls). So Lily went to stay with Mattie for a while and is taking a temporary leave of absence from Chancellor-Winters. The show announced when Vail Bloom first returned [in early 2023] that she would appear for a few episodes as Heather, to help with introducing teenaged Lucy Romalotti to the canvas. But the situations with CLB and CK seemed to have caused the show to bring in Heather more fully.

No, what I meant was... Kevin locking up Colleen and burning down Gina's is airing in USA on December 29, as you said. (and aired in Canada on Dec. 28). But a *follow-up* episode, from a few days later, airs in USA on January 1st. And airs in Canada Dec. 29.

TV guide sends their print issues out in the mail at least a week or more before it's released digitally. It's been common in past few years to see articles tweeted out far in advance because people get the issue early.

Danny didn't cheat on Cricket with Phyllis in the past. Phyllis engineered the situation to make it seem that way. Danny was drunk and asleep, but she made him think they had sex when they didn't. Phyllis also got pregnant by some guy and passed the child off as Danny's. Danny believed it and married Phyllis for the sake of their baby Daniel. Meanwhile, Cricket had given up and married Paul. The truth later came out when Daniel was a toddler, so then Danny disowned Phyllis and denied her all contact with Daniel. Daniel didn't see Phyllis again until he was a teen. All the current crap of Danny being kind to Phyllis is just weird.

On January 29, CBS is airing the Sun Bowl (college football -Oregon State vs. Notre Dame)... In some markets, the B&B repeat won't air at all that day. On January 29, in some markets (mostly Pacific Time), the Y&R 2003 rerun will air at a special time or different channel - some are airing it at 3pm after football. This Y&R rerun is the one where Colleen is locked in the freezer at Gina's restaurant, and Kevin sets the restaurant on fire. I suggest checking alternate channels/times in your local listings if you want to record this. They haven't been uploading the reruns to cbs.com or to paramountplus. For anyone who has access to Canadian broadcasts/websites, the Y&R 2003 repeat will air on GlobalTV at its usual time on Thursday December 28, and will be available on the Global website later that night or the next morning.
