DAYS: Behind the Scenes, Articles/Photos
continuing with what @JAS0N47 and @j swift said above . . . AnnaLynne McCord's hiring for DAYS was announced on December 18, 2023, with the character name of "Marin" (name used only for the casting announcement). https://deadline.com/2023/12/days-of-our-lives-casts-annalynne-mccord-90210-1235671750/ Michael Maloney said AnnaLynne McCord was filming episodes for "Paper Empire" on location in Saudi Arabia, in the role of Tabitha Sutton, a seasoned CIA agent/cyber security analyst, but "she completed her Paper Empire role prior to joining the cast of DAYS." https://soaphub.com/days-of-our-lives/news-days/days-star-annalynne-mccord-does-double-duty-shooting-paper-empire-in-saudi-arabia/ From the Paper Empire facebook page, ALMc was filming Paper Empire scenes in Saudi Arabia Dec. 18-23, 2025. https://www.facebook.com/paperempire18/videos/862178746031272 Per Jason47, the DAYS studio was dark during the workweeks of Dec. 25-29, 2023 and Jan. 1-5 2024. https://jason47.com/days/productionschedule.html ALMc's first airdate was June 19, 2024 for one episode. https://www.jason47.com/days/castbios3.html June 19, 2024 was when she was seen shown on the silent video that Chad and Julie watched at the bank. That was her only appearance in June 2024. She didn't air at all during July 2024. (She appeared Aug. 1, 2024 only as a flashback of June 19, 2024.) Then she began airing regularly starting Aug. 8, 2025 (edit - I meant starting Aug. 8, 2024) https://www.jason47.com/days/castcharts2024.html So, from Jason's production schedule, she probably began taping the August 2024 episodes during week of 1/22/24-1/26/24. (with the usual disclaimer that this is an estimate since sets/characters are sometimes taped out of order). My guess (without knowing anything) is that although the June 2024 episodes were taped in December 2023, I would assume that AnnaLynne's June 19, 2024 scene was taped in January when she taped the August episodes, and then edited into the June episode. (because she was in Saudi Arabia in December.)

2025: The Directors and Writers Thread
Oops - I messed up there. I had confused this with a different scenario. Episodes written during a WGA strike don't show writers' names onscreen. But episodes written in normal times do credit the writers regardless of their guild status.

DAYS: Behind the Scenes, Articles/Photos
Already posted this on the Santa Barbara thread, but adding here on the DAYS history thread for fun because, Missy Reeves talks about the distant past and says: "I used to dogsit Louise Sorel's dogs when she went on vacation" This is about Missy Reeves remembering her time at Santa Barbara, (on the occasion of 40 years since she first taped at DAYS). https://x.com/RemindMag/status/1976401054670438583 published October 9, 2025: Melissa Reeves - brief interview about her time at Santa Barbara. Lynn Martin was first credited as a BTG scriptwriter March 3, 2025. Michele Val Jean is very pro-union and I think it's likely that she'd prefer WGA writers. According to Lynn Martin's Linkedin https://www.linkedin.com/in/lynnmartinwriter/ -- she finished at BTG in June 2025. As of today (Oct. 11, 2025), her most recent scriptwriting credit (in the onscreen opening credits) for BTG was in the Oct. 2, 2025 episode. (I don't know when her final BTG script airs/aired). It's puzzling because BTG wouldn't list her in the onscreen credits if she were nonWGA, would they?

B&B: October 2025 Discussion Thread
Interesting. In the official Y&R videos showcasing the new elaborate train car sets .. (totally ridiculous, I know, but the show is serious about it) ... the actors talk about the lighting being so much better on the train sets, so that everyone's faces look better, -- very similar to what @Maxim described about how the lighting at the new B&B studio makes everyone's faces look better.

Understandable error that Carolyn made. Thanks for clearing that up! Also noting Jason being sharp-eyed re: Saturday vs Sunday.

Lynn Martin isn't ficore. In this February 2024 interview, she talks about being a Y&R writer and going on strike, and then coming back to work after the strike, and then being fired as soon as enough time had passed that they could legally fire her. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiCyBd2YQeA After her stint at DAYS, she went over to BTG for a while.

Jason, I appreciate that you listed their full names. I know Jason has already thoroughly researched the WGA East and West ficore lists. For anyone else curious, here is the full ficore list for all TV&film 1981-2023: https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/66743-all-wga-fi-core-lists/

As already posted above: According to Carolyn, Kathleen Culliton was born in January 1987. from the twitter account: Another World Memories @NBCAnotherWorld December 31st: #OnThisDay in 1986, Bay City rang in the New Year #AW #AnotherWorld --- Carolyn Culliton @oldbat53871 replied (link) Three and a half weeks after this episode aired, I delivered a script on Friday and my sweet Kathleen on Saturday. Three-and-a-half weeks after the Dec. 31, 1986 episode would be January 1987. As posted above: Kathleen Culliton is a journalist, and the daughter of Carolyn and Richard. But I don't know if she had ever written for soaps (until now) ? https://www.linkedin.com/in/kathleen-culliton-7686aa21/ https://www.rawstory.com/u/kathleenculliton And yes the journalist is Carolyn's daughter per Carolyn's and Kathleen's tweets back and forth about it, also posted above. Carolyn congratulated Kathleen when Kathleen posted she got the job at Raw Story. Adding on: in prior years, Carolyn had mentioned in her tweets that Kathleen was writing for Patch. (The Patch news organization, not the Patch character, LOL) Definite that the journalist is Carolyn's daughter.

https://www.facebook.com/janegoodallinst/posts/pfbid08eGoe6W3byDXTCN5bHt1YUZBW6k9QMo2FQxCEkoRSEkDwYr2TD84Pg3RxAujokubl the Jane Goodall Institute October 6, 2025 Dr. Jane Goodall spent her final weeks doing what she loved most — advocating for the planet, connecting with people from all walks of life, and embodying her message of hope. 💚 She shared her vision for a better future through sold-out lectures in Ottawa, Toronto, Detroit, and Austin; called for urgent climate action at Climate Week in New York City; met with supporters and partners in Mexico City and Los Angeles; and inspired young changemakers at a special Roots & Shoots event in Chicago. Jane often said that the power of young people was her greatest reason for hope — and the morning after she passed peacefully in her sleep, she was scheduled to speak at a Roots & Shoots school event in Pasadena. Her passion for our world never wavered. She reminded us that hope is not passive — it is action. As we carry her mission forward, we remember her words: “Every individual matters. Every individual has a role to play. Every individual makes a difference.” 🌿 Join us in remembering Jane: janegoodall.org/rememberingjane #ThankYouJane #RememberingJane #JaneGoodall- The Politics Thread
