Interesting article, thanks for posting. I always appreciate learning various perspectives on things. When the organizers sincerely mean well but . . . I was just reading about how the largest annual powwow in the USA has ended after many years of being organized by a non-Indigenous person - it was enormous and drew 100,000 (yes 100,000) visitors to the region each year, but . . . . Re: issues to address Yeah there were people claiming Kamala Harris wasn't a Black American because her father grew up in Jamaica. What? That's not the same thing (at all) as the EssenceFest controversy. But it's part of the larger conversation.

The first week or two of the show, Dani and Chelsea did an Ebony photoshoot, with Andre. There are framed Ebony covers on the wall (within FairmontCrest universe) of younger Dani, as if fictional model Dani were a real person on the real Ebony's cover, and more recent cover with Chelsea. What? I mean, I believe you, but it's an odd continuity in the writing! Will was born in November 1995. Gabi is supposed to be his age, they were in high school together, we saw that onscreen. Will wasn't SORASed onscreen, but he and Gabi would be SORASed in effect during adulthood -- since their daughter Ari is now 18 or 19 years old. Ari being 18 or 19 makes Will&Gabi now around 38 years old. Theo was born in May 2003. The whole story was that Theo and Ciara were born after the JT/Zach children.. Johnny and Allie (as children) were in the same age group as Theo/Ciara/Claire. Theo was SORASed onscreen when recast with Kyler Pettis. Theo/Claire/Ciara were SORASed together to age 16 in 2015, then 18 in 2016, then maybe 20 in 2017 (something close to that). That would make Theo around 28 years old now, so ten years younger than Gabi, and ten years older than Ari. Allie and Johnny arrived in Salem SORASed to adulthood -- Allie in 2020 and Johnny in 2021. Allie was post-college in 2020. so maybe she was around 22-23? So maybe Johnny is supposed to be around 28 now. Which fits me saying Theo should be 28 now. I will always try to calculate it out . . . I can come up with what I think I is a smart clever calculation -- but then discover it doesn't fit, and my idea doesn't work. I should know by now that (as with all SORAS conundrums), these things cannot be explained or rationalized.

The last time they had no spoilers, it was when something was happening that the show felt would be surprising, I think when Luna was on the run and then died (if she in fact died). This time, it seems to be two weeks in a row. Maybe it's intentional, or maybe a staffperson wasn't available to release the spoilers. Wondering what Dylan is screaming at in the preview video for week April 27. Could it be Luna?
