  1. deidrehall_official 2h When I say Bill & Susan Hayes, I think of the phrase with no separation between the words. If written, it would appear as Billandsusanhayes. I had the opportunity to see them up close and unguarded due to our professional and personal relationship. During any significant moment or event, it was each other’s eyes they sought out to share the experience. It could not be fully enjoyed until it was shared. Their deep and abiding faith made them pillars in their church community. Bill and Susan’s belief included action, not just providing emotional and substantive support. After 50 years of lending his voice to the Chancel Choir, he was honored by the church with the retirement of his choir robe and a permanent plaque that reads: “The Bill Hayes Chancel Choir Loft.” Whether sharing tales of their large family, their extensive travels, or plays made by their oft-disappointing Dodgers, they built on each other’s stories until a rich and entertaining visual was achieved. Many will speak of Bill’s unparalleled voice, not just the quality but the emotion contained within. When being greeted by Bill, you could hear the smile contained in your name. “Billy, Dee’s here.” “Deeeiiidddrrreeee!!” I’m not describing it well, but anyone who knows him will be grinning at the memory. Regardless of where our last conversation ended, Bill would pick up the next with: “Say, how did your monologue work?” “Did you try that curry restaurant?” And, always: “How’s your SISTER?!?” Many years ago, clearly having no idea personally, I asked Bill, “What makes a marriage work?” He gave it much thought before saying, “In all the years I have known Susan, she has never given me an insincere kiss.” It was not a casual response. I understood it to mean the constancy of sincere devotion. Upon reflection, it is the glue that held them together. It is the deep and demonstrable love and affection for each other and the life they had created. Yes, they taught us how to love, and it was truly a Master Class. Bill Hayes was the most loving and generous man I have ever known. Anyone lucky enough to have spent time with this gentle man, would surely agree they were “changed for good.”
  2. I've read tons of posts here saying the same, LOL.
  3. Is she the right age for Sheila's daughter?
  4. I couldn't find a "Kate Scheilter" on IMDB, but I found a "Kate Schettler" who played a nurse for one episode of GH, January 19, 2023. https://www.kateschettler.com/

  7. I'm hard of hearing, so I appreciate that Peter Bergman always has excellent enunciation. I never need closed-captioning when he's speaking. That said, it does seem a bit too deliberate and might make his normal lines seem like overdramatic speeches. But I don't think he's intentionally speechifying. I've notice that Michael Mealor does almost the same thing, in that his vocal inflection is similar. It's as if he's trying to speak like his Kyle was raised by PB's Jack. Mealor is really good at that. But lately Kyle has called himself "Smilin' Jack" and that doesn't quite fit. His messing around with Audra was more of a Terry Lester Jack move, and not a PB-Jack move.... But if Mealor's speaking and emoting style were more TL, then I might buy him as "Smilin' Jack". But this Kyle is just too preppy and buttoned up, like a young Cliff Warner.
  8. The dialog Jan. 11 was that Bobbie hadn't been a "teenaged prostitute" as she'd been labeled for decades. Carly commented that actually Bobbie was underage and was trafficked, and Carly said that even though Luke and Bobbie were close siblings, Luke didn't protect her. Carly said these issues weren't understood back then, but there is better understanding now. One of the points of that episode was that Bobbie's work in Amsterdam was that she was rewriting the narrative of her past by claiming the truth and helping women in the present day. And well ... didn't Ruby run the brothel at one point? Was Bobbie brought into the industry by her aunt? So with with this new writing of the last chapter of Bobbie's life in Amsterdam, I think it's fitting that it not be called Ruby's. Maybe women who are starting over could rent rooms upstairs?

  11. Taylor bought the beach house in October 2022 as a surprise for Ridge, because she and Ridge had seemed to be back together, and she thought she'd be living there with Ridge. Taylor said she did this because she and Ridge had lived there together many years ago. Last we heard, I thought Taylor still owned it. Wednesday January 17, 2024, the dialogue indicates that Wyatt is considering moving out of the beach house and leaving L.A. Wyatt said to Bill: "You've been extremely generous, letting me live here after Taylor moved out." Wyatt says he found someone to rent the beach house while Bill is figuring out what to do with it. Bill comments on Wyatt finding the potential tenant, and says that will save Bill a call to "Cindy the head of our real estate team". (perhaps an in-joke reference to Don Diamont's wife Cindy Ambuehl who is a real estate agent?) Brad Bell is belatedly writing off Wyatt, but not clearly acknowledging Taylor's exit?
  12. Just saw your post. No. Embedded tweets still don't display for me correctly on the SON messageboard. Nor is the display correct for the end-credits tweet embedded in this webpage https://www.soapoperanetwork.com/2024/01/general-hospital-2023-end-credits-people-behind-the-scenes-port-charles Since I have this issue seeing correct display of embedded tweets on a few (but not all) news sites, too, I don't think changing SON settings is the solution. Probably best to keep your site with the latest/best tech. Don't cater to me, I can find workarounds. Thanks!

  14. The Ace twins' mom to Adam Huss on twitter: https://twitter.com/theclaybros/status/1747049355167797371 Lana Clay @theclaybros My husband and I were just talking about how Joey instantly knew you were a good person and immediately trusted you. Not everyone has that quality. We appreciate you treating our sons with such love, and it certainly shows on the screen ❤️
  15. Two different interviews about Huss studying videos of Tyler Christopher ongoing, and of Tyler's scenes with Nicolas Bechtel, in order to understand Nikolas's layers, and to understand the Nikolas/Spencer dynamic. Both on the SOD website in the past few days: 1) https://www.soapoperadigest.com/content/exclusive-general-hospital-preview-nikolas-and-spencer-reunite/ 2) https://www.soapoperadigest.com/content/exclusive-adam-huss-nikolas-on-checking-back-in-to-general-hospital/

I’m just over the moon at the love. Had two phenomenal actors to pull ‘em off with who gave me every bit of what I needed and more @nicholasachavez & @theclaybros but of course
  18. Oops error. Dec. 15, 2023 was when twitter began having its twitter-wide issue that lasted a day or two, which they resolved. The current issue began (for me) January 10, 2024. (even though I hadn't been able to update Chrome or Edge in over a year).
  19. I can't update Chrome or Edge because I'm in Windows 7 and cannot afford to upgrade my Windows. Chrome and Edge won't update for me anymore, I get a message that I need at least Windows 10. But embedded tweets displayed fine in all browsers for me until one month ago (Dec. 15) edit: until one week ago (Jan. 10) and yet I haven't been able to update Chrome or Edge in more than a year. I can still see embedded tweets on other messageboards. Just not SON. And as I said, I can see properly embedded tweets on some websites but not others. Nobody else has mentioned an issue, so this is different from the last time when Twitter was at fault. Firefox works great, it just loads slower on my computer, which is why I had been using Chrome. I guess it's my P C ... and nothing I can do about it at this time. I know how to clumsily figure out what people are posting when using Chrome, or I can use Firefox. It's not perfect but it will do until I can upgrade my technology.
  20. here the clip of Christina Applegate at the Emmys tonight talking about what Jason said above
  21. Camryn tweeted that she filmed that 7 days after giving birth!
  22. Update/correction: Camryn filmed the Jan. 5th "Sharon's dream" episode before her maternity leave. but she said on twitter that she filmed the Jan. 15th "launch party of Sharon's business" episode" *** seven days after giving birth *** ... https://twitter.com/camryngrimes/status/1746048919648497823
