I saw that image comparison (and similar ones) back in November on several different twitter accounts. I mean the black shirt and the hair ... Lots of people saw what the show was doing there.

On the left is a random Jason image. On the right is Jake from Nov. 6, 2023 after Anna inadvertently shot Charlotte. Seemed like they were setting up Jake as a reflection of Jason. (except that Jake actually showed emotion)

Just a thought, but I suggest discussing what Corday said at the Bill Hayes memorial ... on *any* other thread. I just feel that Bill Hayes (and Susan Seaforth Hayes) should own this thread here. Deidre said Susan asked her to read that specific poem. Deidre did that well and didn't overstep by saying anything else. And the poem seems to have been chosen to stand by itself, as it was more of a spiritual/philosophical reading/metaphor about transitioning into the next life. There were other Days cast in attendance, but the cameras didn't show anyone in attendance regardless of whether they were coworkers, friends, or relatives. The only people shown on camera were people who were asked to speak or sing. (A few cast mentioned on their own personal social media that they were there, but otherwise we wouldn't know, as attendees in the pews weren't shown.) Bill Hayes was on Days for 54 years on and off, but that was only a small part of his 98 years alive. Even when he was working, he did much after work, on weekends, and on vacations, that had nothing to do with the show. And there were so many many many years he lived before he joined Days. He did a lot in his long life and knew a LOT of people, went a lot of places, and made an impact on so many. He helped people and spread joy everywhere. A service lasting one hour and forty-five minutes was barely long enough to give glimpses into his life. And this was for his family and closest friends, many of whom spoke or sang at the service. I enjoyed hearing all the stories about his life, and his long friendships. Watching the service put things into a greater perspective for me. This is the poem that Deidre read aloud: I am standing upon the seashore. A ship, at my side, spreads her white sails to the moving breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength. I stand and watch her until, at length, she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other. Then, someone at my side says, "There, she is gone." Gone where? Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast, hull and spar as she was when she left my side. And, she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port. Her diminished size is in me -- not in her. So I think that spoiled part will be produced by Janet and the writing will hopefully be transitioned into whoever is the nonunion writers during the writers strike after firedguy left.

In 2022 and 2023, some of the quarterfinals and semifinals were on CBS broadcast TV. Has not been announced yet if this will happen in 2024. This is the third year in a row they've done this. The 2023 final aired on CBS-TV on Saturday June 10, 2023, and I don't know the numbers/ratings on that.

A few days of soccer on CBS broadcast TV during soap slots in USA western timeslots. This happened in 2022 and 2023 on some (but not all) Tuesdays and Wednesdays of Feb/March/April/May. the "UEFA Champions League" (European soccer tournament) will air on CBS broadcast television on some of these dates. The tournament is broadcast live from Europe in the evening, which happens to be daytime in USA. Just like in 2022 and 2023, CBS Sports is covering two simultaneous matches per day. One match carried on *both* CBS broadcast TV *and* on ParamountPlus. The other match is carried *only* on ParamountPlus. Tues. Feb. 13, Wed. Feb. 14 – airs on both CBS broadcast TV and Paramount Plus. Tues. Feb. 20, Wed. Feb. 21 – airs on both CBS broadcast TV and Paramount Plus. These February dates are all "Round of 16, First Leg" of the tournament. Tues. March 5, Wed. March 6– airs on both CBS broadcast TV and Paramount Plus. [Tues. March 12 and Wed. March 13 are currently listed as *only* Paramount Plus.] The March dates are all "Round of 16, Second Leg" of the tournament. There may be other dates in April and May, to be announced. That's okay LOL I had transposed some figures and made four errors in my post, which I just fixed! FYI, the usual Tuesday and Wednesday February soccer preemptions are coming soon for Y&R and B&B. The shows will be overridden by European soccer on a few dates (USA only, and only in western timezones) but they won't count as *official* preemptions because at least half or more of the episodes air in the eastern cities. So if you miss your show, catch it on another channel, or on your regular channel late at night, or catch it online. Check your listings and be prepared to manually record if you record. They've done this every year for past few years.
