Might be another European soccer partial preemption that day, *if* CBS decides to carry the semifinals. The semifinals happen Tues. April 30, Wed. May 1st, Tues. May 7, and Wed. May 8.

Thanks! I was thinking of checking it. I remember GH did lots of rearranging that created five insert episodes in April/May 2020, and it took a bit of research to figure it all out. Judiciously comparing the spoilers (same as the abc.com episode descriptions) with what actually aired. In 2020, they were trying to stretch out the already-filmed episodes to air over the COVID break so they broke up episodes and inserted flashbacks and random things to fill the time. In 2024 it's probably a writing pivot. Interesting to see what's changed.

Well, no, actually, I didn't have the full picture. Some people who seemed confused elsewhere online, were actually right. They pointed out the spoiler discrepancy. Thanks to @titan1978 who noted it and posted it. It seems that the episodes airing 4/16/2024 and 4/17/2024, were switched in broadcasting in Canada on CityTV. BUT .... The totality of *both* episodes together -- equal what was spoiled for 4/16. This can be determined from reading the Canada and US recaps for those dates. This would have created what amounts to an "insert episode". If (and only *if* ) there was an insert episode, then that would move everything to the next airdate, and Shannon Peace's eppy might be moved as well. But this speculation might be wrong. It's possible that there was no "insert episode" -- maybe the episode descriptions released ahead-of-time (the daily spoilers) were wrong. How to verify if there's a split: whenever dgepress (Disney press site) releases GH episode photos for these episodes. The episode numbers sometimes show on the photos. Inserts usually have the letter "A" added to the episode number. or if we check the daily spoiler descriptions and if they continue to be off by one day for several days, then we know there was an insert that shifted airdates.

I read other comments online elsewhere, that similar to yours, so I finally did some digging. You are right, they split one episode into two episodes, and then added some scenes to one of them. Analyzing the spoilers for Episode 15448: * Laura and Anna come to a mutual realization. * Trina questions Josslyn and Dex about their relationship. * Alexis and Finn support each other. * Brook Lynn and Chase have an honest discussion about money. * Elizabeth opens up to Gregory. The Trina/Josslyn/Dex scenes... aired Tues. 4/16 in US, and will air Wed. 4/17 in Canada. That episode also included these unspoiled scenes: -- Maxie/Felicia -- Laura/Jordan -- Sonny/Brick -- Jordan/Brick -- Sonny/Ava -- TJ/Gregory These scenes: Laura/Anna, Alexis/Finn, Brook Lynn /Chase/money, and Elizabeth/Gregory... all aired in Canada Tues. 4/16, and will Air Wed. 4/17 in U.S. This is verified by the recaps: This is a *recap* of what aired in US on Tues. April 16, and will air in Canada on Wed. One of the eppys is up on abc.com, listed as 4/16, with the description originally spoiled for 4/16, which includes scenes that haven't aired. Neither is up on CityTV.com (Canada's network for GH) It's only theory/speculation at this point, but that would mean that the rest of the daily spoilers already posted would be moved a day, due to the insert? which that would mean that 15449 would air Thurs 4/18? This would also explain why Shannon Peace wondered if her final breakdown episode is moved to Thursday 4/18 -- if that's what happens. Who knows?

Shannon's most recent ig post *wondered* (questioned) if her last script would be moved to airdate of Thursday 4/17 due to episodes airing incorrectly this week. But she was confused by what was being tweeted by confused viewers. SOD said explained that the mix-up was only in the Canadian broadcast. That should have nothing to do with Shannon's breakdown episode airdate in the USA. The first episode was characters learning of Victor's death, Suzanne Rogers’ 40th anniv, Shawn-Douglas being stressed, Chloe considering Xander's marriage proposal, and Xander learning that Sarah is pregnant. The second episode was Victor's memorial. The third episode was mostly about the aftermath of Victor's memorial with Sarah giving birth and Vivian arriving, but also had some John/Timothy scenes.

Nice soapy history picture. Marie, Maggie, and Liz all had marriages/affairs with Neil Curtis. Marlena, Maggie, Liz, and Julie all had marriages/affairs with Don Craig. Part of me wonders if anyone will address where Don Craig went after he mailed that letter? But I know the episode needs to be about Doug and Bill Hayes, and not whatever Don Craig info I'm curious about, LOL.
