  1. The Clear Horizon Per the February 24, 1962, The Daily Capital News, the full name of the character played by James Edwards was Corporal Mack Davis. His wife's (Kim Hamilton) name was Gloria.
  2. Found an article from November 1971 that said Michael was a "new recruit" to SFT. An article from September 1971, announcing that Robby had been cast in the film, Jory, said that he would be on SFT until he left to film in Mexico, which was due to start on November 17, 1971. So maybe Michael was just a replacement until Robby finished filming Jory? Though I haven't found anything about Robby returning to SFT.
  3. I found several references re Robby Benson already playing Bruce in 1971. The earliest mention I found was from August 1971. This one was from October 1971.
  4. Sorry, I don't know either. Would like to see it myself.
  5. I have a feeling Marland learned his "rules" from the mistakes he made at The Doctors, because he violated quite a few of them.
  6. RIP. Loved him best as Alex. He was a villain with a sense of humor.
  7. I once worked with a man who said in the late 60s/early 70s, our organization would measure the men's sideburns to ensure they weren't too long, so maybe Matt's obsession with Jody Lee's hair wasn't that far off. I remember my father being appalled at The Beatles "long" hair when they first became known.
  8. Agree, there was still plenty of story that could have been written for them. Could have still done the story with Laurie wanting a career and maybe Hank wanting to start a family right away.
  9. Laurie just disappeared and it was said that she had left Hank to be with her agent, Harry, in NYC and returned to singing. Marie Thomas used to post on a FB group for The Doctors when her episodes were airing. She said tptb wanted her to go on recurring and she didn't want to do that. I think Hank was offered a job elsewhere and never returned from checking it out.
  10. Yes, I'm old enough to remember when she was one of the few women in tv news. Saw her first on the Today Show.
  11. I have an interview from when she was writing for The Secret Storm and in that she did indicate that she was let go while she was off making a film. She was told that Maggie would be killed off.
  12. Chris Ford. He played Dr. Malcolm McPherson on Dearest Mothers, and was Vick Webb on Caroline's Golden Store. Pictures are staged from a radio show called Peter Quill, in which he played Capt. Wells. Philip Gordon.
  13. Days had hit #1 in the ratings just a month before this episode, knocking out ATWT. First time in ten years that a CBS show wasn't at #1.
  14. Oh, sorry, didn’t notice there wasn’t a video on IG.
  15. Someone will likely upload it somewhere. It’s also on @DaysPeacock account on Instagram. Here are a few screencaps in the meantime. Doug was given his ornament for the first time.
  16. Yes, she talked about it to People Magazine too. It was very brutal. She was a strong woman. Here's the article. WARNING: Frank discussion of a violent sexual assault. https://people.com/archive/a-victim-of-rape-speaks-out-on-this-vilest-of-crimes-vol-19-no-4/
  17. Some clips from Christmas 1971! The two Susans (Seaforth and Flannery) look gorgeous.
