Honestly I believe the early 2000s is where you may find more entertainment if you're looking to binge some Emmerdale material. Specifically 2003-2008, Sadie King, Zoe Tate's exit, Victoria/Aaron/Daz(Christmas Day 2008).

This might be a bit off topic, but I don't see how JFP even made Y&R modern. She made it quite stale IMO. If there was any EP that Y&R had recently that attempted to shake things up and bring it to the 21st century, it was Mal Young, for all his faults, made a valid attempt to freshen up the show.

Still was rooting for Trina and Cam to get together, but I can dig Trina and Spencer. But Joss and Cam are soooooo borrrriinnngggg. The show could've had a viable triangle if Trina and Cam had actually started a relationship, and shortly after Dev's manipulations had been revealed. Throw Spencer in the mix and it would write itself, and you could still end up having Trina and Spencer together at some point.

So much longing, yearning, and just good old fashioned romance in today’s episode. I LOVED it (except Cam and Joss) 😍

KM suffers from the exact same illness that plagued Beth Ehler's performances during the end of her tenure on GL. Such a waste of a good talent, I was huge fan of hers on Port Charles.

They should have sacrificed everything to keep Broderick on the writing team; her writing always felt similar to Curlee's.

I'm happy that they have nothing but good stuff to say about JER. I know he gets a bad rap in the industry, but he was always good at the basics, and in my opinion had he avoided the sci-fi stuff I think the industry would've held him in a much higher regard (especially if paired up with the likes of Curlee, Demorest on his team).

It's funny how for all of Rauch's faults, it was under him that happened, and again in 2002 when he cast JC as Alex. Two brief moments when Alex as a character was being written properly.

Can you imagine how much greatness we would’ve witnessed had someone like Lorraine Broderick (and Wisner Washam who once worked on the writing team) was there to take the reigns from Curlee/Demorest. So disappointing.

^Yeah I was thinking Roman too, but this is RC's Days which doesn't really tend to think outside the box most of the time. I wouldn't be against it though.

If that's how they resolved this story, I'm truly disappointed. This would've been another way to cleverly bring Sam and Dante together. They were definitely implying at the non-wedding that there was more going on underneath the surface with Dante than something that could simply be resolved in therapy. Oh well, missed opportunity.

That pretty much sums up my attraction to GL compared to ATWT.

The thing is, JKJ isn't bad looking. They just need to style him better and get him a haircut. I kind of felt the same way about Paul Telfer when he first came on, and he's now one of the better styled/looking men on the show.

Did the show drop Dante/Liesl brainwashing SL? Remember how Dante nearly pummeled Peter in the cemetery, and Sam had to snap him out of whatever trance he was in? Is this going be brought up again?

How many rewrites of the big reset is Ron going to do?

On The Doctors, didn't Maggie have a pregnancy storyline that resulted in miscarriage? I'm sure it was in the early 80s when the show had a revolving door of writers, I remember reading some summaries around the Maggie being pregnant and it creating a rift between her and Matt. Even though it was a late in life pregnancy, I wouldn't have minded the pair having a child of their own. Ed and Maureen also would've been nice to see share a kid.
