HA Sasha "Not Fierce" 🤣 I wish they had given Willow an edge by developing an unhealthy attachment to Wylie after the truth came out, showing that something may not be psychologically ok with her after being led to believe her baby had survived. Instead Willow is a complete saint and has successfully integrated herself into the life of the child she once thought was biologically hers, and there's very little conflict stemming from Michael and Willow alone.

I don't believe Morgan/Kelly would've lasted very long; and the two seemingly were being pulled in two separate directions during the tail end of Marland's tenure? Kelly's demanding job in the medical profession; Morgan becoming a model/Josh Lewis etc. and seemed like there might be some conflicts from that. Weren't Kelly/Claire a pairing under Long? Seemed interesting.

Tripp should be a good guy, but with a bit of a edge (rough childhood, held a scalpel to Kayla's throat, etc); unfortunately Ron does not know how to write such characters without making them one extreme or the other (boringly too good; or outright psycho).

I don't think any of those can compare to how good the show looked in 2007 during Ed Scott's era, last time we had moving cameras and interesting camera angles/in depth stunts. Though I was impressed with how much effort was put in when Kate and Sami tried to dispose of Nick's body in the river (the last time they put effort into a outdoor set), I believe that was under Gary Tomlin in 2013.

Not sure about the Eddie Banks exit for Annie; but didn't Annie and Rick also share a past? I always hoped they could've delved more into their history and maybe let her be a small thorn in Abby/Ricks side for years to come.

B&E, like Long/Ryder started off strong, but in a short amount of time everything went off the rails.

Why is it that we now get good scenes between Brady/Kristen. This entire story has been a total albatross on the show, and yesterdays scenes were phenomenal; had we received that type of writing from the start instead of camp and repetitiveness I would've been more inclined to watch this story play out.

Watching Mondays episode and these Jason/Britt scenes are classic soap 😍

The show had a Jill like character in Hillary and they just ruined it.

True Abby has never clicked which is a shame and embarrassment of riches considering her family ties. SSM was the only writer I felt had a vision for Abby and made her interesting; by making her and Victoria rivals. That’s only time she clicked.

Maybe Cyrus will cause Sasha to miscarry thus making her or Brando a suspect in the obvious murder mystery coming up lol I’m sure it’d be to much to ask that if Sasha and her unborn child were to die, it would cause Brando to go down a darker route. That’d be too complex for this writing team to handle.

One of THE best scenes between Holly and Blake from Guiding Light. Maureen Garrett is simply flawless and its an embarrassment how GL neglected her in its final years along with this interesting dynamic. There’s many parts of this confirmation online but this one particularly stands out to me.

It’s fascinating how Bell went from writing the number one soap at the time ATWT then to becoming the head scribe at DAYS a brand new soap which was lower in the ratings. The death of Susan’s son and subsequent trial sounds similar to TGLs story of MetaBauer/Chuckie/Ted White. Of course it should come as no surprise that Irna Phillips influenced much of Bells writing.

How many evil deeds are they going to have Peter commit before he finally receives his comeuppance??? I was annoyed that the wedding was not the end of this travesty but they’re now saddling the character with more evil acts. It’s overkill at this point and Wes just gets horrible with each passing day.

I would’ve really liked to have seen a Lillian/Mike/Alex triangle play out, eventually turning into a Justin/Alex/Mike/Lillian quad. So many wasted opportunities from the Kobe era.
