  1. Thanks so much @duane . Never seen that. Good quality scan too. I find it hilarious that just about all I really know for sure with Loving Friends is it's the show where Paul Hecht got ass.
  2. It's a bad way to promote any interest in BtG. There's a good chance the repeats will get better ratings than the start of BtG at this point.
  3. I know some fans also felt it was down to how John Clarke had aged. Sometimes I am surprised they stayed on the show as long as they did. JER in particular seemed to have no interest in Maggie, even though she's proven since that she really will commit, no matter how awful the material.
  4. This happens on soaps a fair amount. I think it's just a tribute, although maybe part is down to Frank just wanting to brag about having access to AMC characters. A shame they never do anything with Loving characters, although I wouldn't want to hear about Gwyn's poisoned hip.
  5. I hadn't heard about Jeanne moving to ATWT. I imagine she would have gotten involved in some of the business stories - maybe part of the Grimaldi entourage? Either that or tied to Neal and Royce. (imagine her as Orlena)
  6. I remember seeing this on saynotoursoap years ago and being affected by the scenes with Brooke and her mother. Brooke is such a fascinating character in the glimpses I've seen of a her; a shame what became of her.
  7. Thanks for letting us know. The last of the Mod Squad...
  8. I think it had already been done better with Jill, but I see your point. His death aftermath was poor. I also would have recast Jack over immediately killing John. Bergman's best was gone.
  9. I don't want to spam a video everywhere so I'll just say that I put a video in the Love is a Many Splendored Thing thread that I think has Rita Walter at around 27 minutes.
  10. I think Kristain said in an interview there was a scheduling conflict which meant she couldn't film those scenes.
  11. Posting here as this is closer to the right timeframe...is the Ivory ad with Beverlee McKinsey at the start of this video already well known? I can't remember if I've seen it before.
  12. Most of Dennis Parker's porn was with women. I do think he had believable chemistry with women, like Raven, but I am still surprised he managed to be cast. I guess the porno chic era helped.
  13. If I just look at Jason Ritter quickly, he doesn't remind me very much of his father, but then sometimes he really does.
  14. I think killing off John hurt more because Ashley and Jack were both so depleted as characters by that point - the character himself had been treading water for years.
  15. I do think the moment where she went out of her way to hurt Molly after Molly wanted to move on from the trial was one where they clearly wrote her as being in the wrong rather than just provoked, misunderstood, etc. But I don't know whether or not they will follow through. She really is the new Sonny in being nasty to move the plot along but they don't want to properly call her out.
  16. They make it more difficult to watch as they just put it up in blocks with no dates given, but still, I'm grateful to get to see the material. The most interesting part of his run was the hints surrounding Bob, John, and Kim (and the suggestion of bringing Penny back).
  17. Based on the history of her family, she will likely be killed offcamera in a year so that Sam and Lydia can raise the baby.
  18. Thanks as always @slick jones
  19. Kristina acts a lot like Carly did in her early years, before the show began to love her. The show does need that type of conflict-heavy character in the show, although they also need more people to call her out.
  20. You're right - for some reason I thought they were both somewhere in 1992.
  21. Oddly, I found an ad in a commercial bloc today that has a different version of the Ann portion. I suppose that's more common than I realized.
  22. Thanks for the tag @Vee (I have to admit I've only ever watched a tiny bit of Mod Squad) Michael Cole was a severe alcoholic in these years, IIRC, so I'm not surprised he didn't last long. From what Randolph Mantooth said, this was also a terrible period backstage.
  23. https://deadline.com/2024/12/mark-withers-dies-77-dynasty-stranger-things-1236196878/ He played Steven's ex-lover, whose death ushered Alexis into the show.
  24. Rest in peace, Mark Withers. https://deadline.com/2024/12/mark-withers-dies-77-dynasty-stranger-things-1236196878/ @slick jones Thanks again for all this. I love the photo of Thom Christopher and Chris Meloni. Craig Stepp was on AW in 1989, not 1987.
  25. To me he's just smug and unlikeable onscreen. I've never cared for his work. As I don't think he's hot either, he does nothing for me.
