When Stephanie was born, Steve wanted to name her "Kayla", but Kayla insisted she be named after Steve. Steve then wanted "Kayla" as her middle name, and Kayla suggest just "Kay".

And that is how they named her Stephanie Kay Johnson.

After all, that appearance means Ari got an AFTRA check, right? And I know "Days" is so cheap that they wouldn't do that unless they had future uses for her. (Or so I would think).

It was a pretty good show. I loved Chelsea's comment about Stephanie being a slow reader. She delivered the line perfectly.

Chelsea is so sharp. She is also a control freak.

I don't think I have ever gone from hating a character as I much as I did Chelsea to LOVING a character as much as I do Chelsea. I [!@#$%^&*] love her! AND I LOVE RACHEL MELVIN!!! Melvin and Benson in scenes together are a treat. I really do hope Abby and Benson are here to stay. I am liking Stephanie/Rose a LITTLE more nowadays, but I'm not loving here the way I should be loving Steve and Kayla's renegade daughter. But if they put her up against Chelsea, I'll have to pick Chelsea. I've never liked a teen so much on DAYS as I do Chelsea - except for Sami - of course!

I am absolutely loving all of these CC scenes, and A/C scenes. Such heaven!

Loved the Carrie and Austin scene...although she didn't tell the whole truth, why she picked Lucas in the first place..She was finally honest to Austin and admitted that she made a huge mistake...Can't wait for next weeks emotional scenes between these two..

I am sure if JER was still writing the show , Chelsea would have been raped by November sweeps, had an abortation, then discovered she was now infertile.

It wouldn't have surprised me if that actually happened. JER along with MMT love to have women raped and face baby horrors. Even if Chelsea was raped, I still wouldn't feel sorry for her. She's a tool.

I've been gone for a few days -- since Tuesday, to be exact -- so I missed all the big scenes of the past week! Just caught up this evening with the clips online and all I can say is "wow." The work that SN and MBE did on Friday is just unbelievable. Mary Beth broke my heart and Stephen just blew me away.

Poor Kayla. And poor Steve. I understand Kayla's pain and I could feel it, in her every word and gesture. Stephen had a tougher time. He had to make me feel for him WHILE he was breaking Kayla's heart, and he did.

A couple of things struck me about Friday. Once, when Kayla said "you're talking like a parent. You're talking like my husband" and he laughed and rubbed his face and said "Geez, you just don't give up, do you?" It was SO much like the old Steve Johnson when faced with a relentless Kayla in the past.

That whole last scene with them was just incredible. From the line where Steve says "it was nice to know I had some people who loved me" through to the end of the scene, Steve is just so visibly conflicted and in pain himself about what he's doing. And when Kayla begs him to try one more time and he shouts "Stop it. Stop, you have to stop!" it was just chilling.

TOTALLY voting for them as best actors this week, for the first time since I voted for MBE back in June.
