I can honestly say the best thing to happen to the Luke storyline is Van being put in the role replacing Jake. Honestly, I couldnt see Jake doing the phenomenal job that Van has consistently performed. The kid is amazing and can more than hold his own against all Oakdale powerhouses. His scenes today broke my heart. I know how hard it is to first come out and wonder what people think. People can say what they want about Jean P but she has told this story not only realistically but incredibly beautiful.

I don't mind Kevin but I don't see this love story between him and Luke that certain fanbases out there are pimping. The guy has never been that much of a good friend to Luke and practically put his life in danger. If they showed Luke struggling over the fact that he shouldn't like someone who doesn't really care about him as much as they show him struggling for being gay, then I might get the Kevin love but that's not what they're doing.

Oohh..I like the prospect of Simon & Carly! I know Simon is probably using Carly to get to Katie but putting those two together would get Carly away from Jack for awhile and Simon can actually have a semblance of his own life for once instead of constantly chasing Katie like a stalker.

I am hoping for a Luke-Kevin romance, but we all know this is ATWT and they will not go there any time soon if ever. I see Kevin acting as a normal 16-17 year old popular rich kid who is trying to fit into a mold. The scene in March where Luke came out to Jade and described his feelings for Kevin moved me more than any other declaration of love on a soap in years. Maybe his feelings aren't returned, but I'll take this over the psycho ramblings of Paul and Emily any day.

But it's time to speed this up a bit. Luke can't be coming out forever. I know in life, gay people have to deal with this forever, coming out or not coming out to every person they meet (if they want a real friendship) but on a soap, after several months, they need to add more to this story if it's going to stay as good for the months to come.

Ehh...I'm still not getting it. To me, Kevin is completely oblivious to Luke having feelings for him not because he's in denial or whatever but because he's straight and just doesn't think of Luke in the same way.

I just don't feel the love between Luke & Kevin. Luke might think that he's in love with Kevin or has strong feelings for him...but it all seems more like a childish crush. I don't see a connection betweeh them at all.

Luke stuff is just dragging and becoming boring.

Simon and Carly stuff I find intriguing.

The maddie stuff is bit more interesting but still out of left field.
