Well, I thought that was a decent cliffhanger.

 

And the next week promo was EVERYTHING.

 

Silk Press Sheila...and HAYLEY??? Given we still don't know yet if SilkPress did a baby switch on Eva and Kat as rumored...could this be a way to confirm that by her teaming up with Hayley to fake a pregnancy? Not to mention payback on Bill. Ooooo THAT'S juicy.

 

Are Kat and Eva about to be our first soap physical catfight?

 

And...Ashley is about to meet Hurricane Dani. TeamDani on that.

I'll never be Team Dani... she's a great example of the ugliness of wealth and being able to avoid having to suffer for her bad choices.

Team Dani here too. Dani is all over the place but she does value Andre as a person. Ashley seems to be out just for a good time. She did dream about Andre telling her that he wore her out.

We should just be real - we just don't like Ashley. Dani was using him for sex, too, before she "valued him as a person."

-- Martin is being written as really impulsive and even stupid. Why is he running around between the casino and the club? Does he even know? He is not acting like a member of Congress or like anyone with a brain.

-- There's no reason why Martin hasn't been told what really happened two years ago.

-- This "plan" developed by all the town's power brokers is actually hilarious. "Get out of town and here's a bag of money and oh, this guy will kill you" is a plan? 😂

-- And why in the hell would Kenny sit in that casino back room after taking a payoff and count that money? Make it make sense.

-- The cliffhanger was weak. No one is getting shot.

-- Get Mobster Joey and his white pimp sports coat off my screen.

-- I was disappointed in Madison for immediately leaving when Alison showed up to talk to Chelsea. I realize she returns, though.

-- Leslie was softer with Eva today, but I'm not buying any of it. Everything with her is a form of manipulation.

Yes, the storyline is BAD!

I think in general the cliffhangers could be more soapy now. We are close to 100 episodes it's time. Today’s cliffhanger was ok but knowing them the next episode won't pick back up there. 

I happen to like Martin’s storyline. It's the only one delivering on mystery and intrigue for me. Having all these men interacting together has added a level of excitement to the story too. I have tons of questions like how Vernon and Joey are buddies? How will the outcome impact Jacob and his father? Martin and Smitty? And Jacob and Naomi? Who is Vernon constantly speaking to on his phone? Will Malone make it to his retirement or end up in jail? And anticipating Nicole's reaction to yet another secret behind her back.

I am SO sick of Orphy Genes and Uptown. We’re supposed to believe everyone in this damn town only eats at a diner or a bar multiple times a week every single week? Oh can’t forget the country club. 
 

I will say the Martin storyline getting the men of this show to all interact has been quite enjoyable.

I’m still not interested in Madison and Chelsea. Also the Madison actress is so much better than Chelsea. I was always amazed Brandon as Martin got all of the bad acting attention and the Chelsea actress didn’t. She has improved though. Oop got a little more interesting when Allison showed up. But now I’m just thinking about that awful actor playing Craig trying to portray the way Allison now describes him.

Eva and Lesley scenes were so good today. They remain my favorite duo since the show began. Both actresses are such a find, I’ll be so sad when they inevitably move on to bigger things as I so enjoy them both and their work together. Trisha showed today it’s not all one note.

Bill in fixer mode was excellent.

It’s always a good day when I can stare at Jacob. I’m still confused as to why no one has questioned Shanice for recognizing Leslie as the nurse for the poisoning. But I guess the helmet scratches might be the smoking gun they need.

OMG why does the next week look so !@#$%^&*]i.ng good and we have to wait woooow

I've watched nearly every episode of BTG, and I know they have done a little location shooting for exterior scenes.  Tonight I started wondering -- has BTG shot any "exterior" scenes on the sound-stage with a fake exterior set??  Hmm... aside from a couple of front porch scenes, I don't remember any.  

Some posters have complained that the show has only three "public space" sets -- Orphie Jean's, Uptown, and the Country Club.  Perhaps the original plan was to do a little more location shooting to add other public spaces to the show.  But since the location shooting seems to have been curtailed, maybe BTG should add a public park set within the studio.  A park set would give us an additional public space, where any characters could interact.   Those are just my thoughts.
