I am glad Brook Lynn blurted out the truth to Tracy and we get to see her reaction. I really hope the show doesn't forget about Ned in this story. Since he appears so rarely, he tends to be the afterthought in all this. That was a pretty large secret Lois and Brook kept from him for no real reason. I need him to be able to show his feelings about being in the dark this whole time.

That Forbes account of Ruth Buzzi said she'd had Alzheimer's for 10 years? -- they are quoting her facebook as saying that.
But her facebook says this:
Ruth Buzzi

She was in hospice care for several years with Alzheimer’s disease.

A few hours before her death was announced, her husband posted onto her facebook this:

This is Ruth Buzzi‘s husband writing on her page. She asked me to thank all of you for being so good to her for so many years. She wants you to know she probably had more fun doing those shows than you had watching them. Because of health issues, she’s must withdraw from writing, but she will still be reading and enjoying your posts.
If you've met Ruthie and had a picture taken with her, please post it below. If you have a great memory from her career that you enjoyed — a special comedy sketch, or a moment that made you laugh — share that with us.
Ruthie loves you.

I feel like the show has been like this for the past 15 or more years, IMO. Things happen but there are never or RARELY any long-term impacts. Instead, everything (characters, history) is just reset to what it was before. In a couple of months, Hope will be working at Forrester again. No one will ever mention the takeover. Brooke and Ridge will be back together for the millionth time, etc etc.
It's hard to get invested in a story when you know this is how the show works.
Martin and Smitty's kids not being there seemed like a glaring omission.
Also, Naomi and Jacob weren't there as well.
I know some of this is probably budget, but it seems like there could be a way to still have them all there.
