-- Good, fun show today. The fashion was great, and put BOLD to shame, and the episode breezed by.

-- I was underwhelmed by that purse.

-- The men's fashion was also very strong, especially the suit on Andre.

-- The teen slang for Samantha needs work. Kids are no longer saying "cray cray" and "jelly." WTH is up with that?

-- The actress playing Samantha is fine, but I don't know how long they can get away with her playing a teenager. The closeups are already pretty telling.

It goes without saying, but Trisha Mann-Grant is a f.ucking STAR. The way she can switch from being casual with her friends in the diner, to being conniving against Ted, to bursting out in tears to hide her ulterior motives is amazing to watch. This is an actress who cares and invests beyond the bare minimum. If the Daytime Emmy's even mean anything anymore, she should be a top contender for Supporting Actress next season.

Agree, Trisha Mann-Grant is the breakout star of BtG. She should move on to bigger and better things after her initial contract is up.

Yeah...I liked the purse Chels and Kat showed off before, but that one. I admit I was meh. Still meh just thinking about it.

And YES. I loved them all, but I think the standouts for me was Ted in the white giving off this strong (and hot) masculine vibe and Vernon which gave off this sophisticated (and also hot) gentleman vibe.

I also admit that I cringed when Samantha said 'jelly.'

Cringe yes. Accurate, though? In today's world, yes. Even in my high school years, I remember hearing "jelly" a lot over jealous.

Does Pamela live out of town?

If not, she's not much of a friend to Dani.

Leslie/Dana is gonna spend that $50,000 at Wig City.

Agree with everything you said.

That purse was surprising! Not in a good way. It didn't seem youthful or innovative at all. It looked like a handbag Chelsea or Kat's mom took to prom in the 80s.

Unfortunately with tight budgets, these big events always take you out of the fantasy. For a charity event, there was no one there. No guests mingling, no staff serving drinks. one dress on display for auction but no other items to bid on in sight. I totally get this is pretty much standard for daytime if not much worse, so I'm not faulting BTG but it just sucks because there's so much potential here.

At first I didn't notice the actress playing Samantha was much older than her character, but getting to see more of her today made that more obvious.

What I want to know is how did Ted come up with 50 thou cash without tripping any alarms or notice of his doing so. Plastic surgery wouldn't seem like a cash crop type business. That roll, when he pulled it out I was instantly dubious. Can someone explain it to me like I'm 6, maybe?

I don't know! But he did say that's the most he could gather without tripping alarms or notice.

Yes, BTG put Bold to shame with the fashion show.

That bag, though—I'll pass.

BTG should be doing the remote, not Bold.

That would be more wigs than even Dana/Leslie/Sheila/Sherry/Anna could possibly need, ever. Folks, that would be a helluva lot of wigs!

It's not accurate. That slang is not used by high schoolers in 2025.

That's it!!! You've hit on it. Counterfeit, brilliant. Ted is on the ball! Cheat DanaLeslieAnnaSheilaSherry why not? With that many aliases who would believe her if she turned him in? How would she even register at the sergeant's desk? Too many names!

And you know this, how? At my former job, I'd have high schoolers come in and was even hearing it from them.

It's dated, especially for Black youth who would more likely use salty or mad jealous or seething or pressed.

Cray cray is just as dated.
