Bill went over there playing games with Dani so he is definitely the one in the wrong now.

Vernon and Anita expect everyone to sacrifice for Martin and it really isn't fair. If they don't want his secret coming out they should urge him to resign from office and live a completely private life.

Thank you so much for posting this site as I was able to watch the entire episode.  I love coming here and reading, but I rarely post, so thanks again for helping me!

Its too late. It will be a scandal and problematic for the family if he is or isnt in office, especially if its a murder as suspected. If he resigns, Bill dosnt lose that power over them as its still something he can leverage when he needs something from that family

Well too bad for Martin because I honestly don't think Naomi is dropping that lawsuit.

I'd like to see Naomi investigate why Bill has this hold on the Duprees.  And for her to figure out whatever Martin's secret is.

I think I prefer Jacob over Andre as well. For me, it's not just about looks, but also about vibe. Jacob just seems manlier in contrast to Andre's boyishness.

IRL Sean Freeman (Andre) is 4 or 5 years older than Jibre Hordges (Jacob).

Its not too bad for Martin bc Bill isnt blackmailing the Duprees to get her to drop it

I felt like they're going that way. They said something about nudging her in the right direction. Hopefully her ethics won't allow it.

I've steadily lost interest in this show as the weeks have gone by, and Ashley/Derek feels like low-hanging fruit as to what's not working. At least for me.

Dani is arguably the star of the show and is written like a 50-something teenager who crashes out because the boy she likes doesn't like her back. She and Bill have chemistry but their dynamic got toxic way too quickly.

Ted and Bill both being cheaters is reductive. I still wish Nicole could've been the one to be the stepping out and that ruins her perfect image.

The Duprees are supposed to be big and bad, but Bill always pushes them into a corner over wooden Martin.

And I agree with the poster who said it's ridiculous that they're having meetings over sexual harassment claims at a restaurant.

Shanice is perfect, and I hope that she gets pushed to the front burner.

I hope the showrunners take the valid criticisms of the show and retool some of these stories. I really do want it to succeed.

The Joey twist makes sense because cops can sometimes use someone on the lower level of criminal activity in order to nab someone higher on the criminal activity food chain.

Are you saying you believe Joey is really a C.I.? If what Jacob's dad said is true, then why is any payoff taking place between Joey and Marcel?

And don't get me started on the stupidity of that handoff being done so openly -- with no one and nothing else around, not even a vehicle. That makes no sense.

-- Why did Andre keep on his leather jacket all through dinner at  Ashley and Derek's? Especially with that shirt also made of leather?

-- That dinner party was so awkward. Nothing about the 3 of them screams friendship, and the talk about that documentary could not be more boring.

-- Dani was not a winner in her showdown with Bill. She's still embarrassing herself.

I agree completely, and it also raises the question as to why Bill doesn't have the power to get the country club to treat Hayley like a human being.

Probably old school, but I think it's because the country club/social world is women's business that men stay out of.

Dani is not a winner as a character

It's up and loaded and CBS/Paramount don't seem like they aren't playing games so let's watch!!!

"All of those Dupree women are unhinged." - Hayley, BTG, 4-2-25, S1E26

WHAT?!!! I cannot figure out Hayley. I don't want to just assume she's not the sharpest crayon in the box, but, really. Although maybe she's just written so thoroughly as the person who needed people at one point in her life & is now the ungrateful stereotyped wretch & gold-digger.

Then, Bill, "I thought she had calmed down & moved on. Excuse me for being an optimist."

I'm sorry, sir, but I believe we have to excuse you for thinking idiotic things with no evidence to support them.

The Duprees are supposed to be so smart and great, but were to believe they literally gave their son in law so much leverage over them they always have to fall in line to him? That actually annoys the hell out of me. Like they’re so powerful and famous, they never found their own leverage over him?
